Q: It for sure comes with a lid?

Yes it does come with a nice kid. I will add that the non-stick coating started chipping on the third use.

Two quarts with 1/4 inch of room at top of pan..

The skillet is designed to be used open and without a lid. We would not recommend using a lid other than a universal lid for this item, as a vacuum seal may occur.
