Pilgrim Home and Hearth 18003 Forged Hearth Fireplace Tool Set, 28"/16 lb, Matte Black

I looked for fireplace tools for a long time and in many different places like fireplace shops and hardware stores. I could not find anything of good weight or quality so I looked online and found these. They arrived and I could barely lift the box. Once open, they had a simple, elegant, wrought iron design; were easy to assemble the stand and work perfectly.

I returned the first set I received hoping that the next set would put together properly. It didn’t. Screws were too short to secure to the Center nut. Also several of the holes in the Center nut were stripped so the screws would not catch and hold.

Threads in the coupler which hold the complete unit together came stripped unit is vary wobbly I now have to make the correct parts so it will work correctly

There were chips, the price point doesn't seem to add up but there is not much quality when it comes to fire place accessories on Amazon. I was going to write to the company but the only option is to return the product which is a bit of a hassle over scratches. Wish they came undamaged. Seems to be durable metal but cheap wood-plastic coverings? Not something I would recommend. Wish there was a high quality product out there for fire play accessories at a descent price point. Not sure of the other reviews but clearly not worth the money. Maybe go for something more expensive from this company (maybe better quality) but save your money if you were thinking of getting these.
