Works perfectly on sticky door locks!
I cannot say enough good things about this product. The lock (a deadbolt) on our 1-year old Marvin French doors became unpredictable and difficult to turn, so after reading reviews on this and many other products, we decided to try this even though there were some complaints. The graphite is very dark, and our doors are black painted aluminum, so we weren't too worried about the "mess" some complained of (maybe would have been if the doors were light-colored, IDK). Shook up the bottle to make sure the powder was not compacted (does it compact? IDK) and towards the tip. The tip on the bottle is very fine and went into the keyhole so easily, and I probably injected a little too much because some did back-spray out, causing a small mess that was later easily cleaned up with dish soap and water. I put the key in and turned it a few times, and voila, a perfectly easily-turning lock! It has been about 10 days since product was applied, and lock has worked smoothly and flawlessly every day since then. Sooo happy with this very inexpensive and easy fix, and will definitely use this product on squeaky door hinges, although will take care to protect items (with cling-wrap?) around the hinge from any back-spray, especially indoors.

USE TO UNSTICK PADLOCKS
Makes the lock slide so easy, like when new. Be careful of product loss when it comes out and DO NOT use near pets

The best; great of coastal areas
I used to apply regular “hardware store” graphite every few weeks because I live in the fog zone of the coast and things tend to rust and get sticky from the salt. It never kept my door’s dead bolt smooth for long and I had to keep a tube of graphite outside in case I ever came home and the lock wouldn’t turn. I was actually going to replace the 1980’s deadbolt because I thought the bolt itself might be the problem. But no more- this stuff is great! I’ve used it once 3 months ago and it’s still turning perfectly. The thin applicator is ideal to getting back into the lock. The graphite can spill out, so protect the area you’re working around.

Worked like a charm on locks
I don't know if it comes from being in our Canadian weather of extreme temperatures and wet weather but I find that with time locks get harder and harder to open. Fearing that I'd eventually break a key in one of them and end up needing a locksmith to let me in I Googled solutions, I didn't want to gunk up the works with oil that might freeze at some point so I decided to try this powder instead. All my locks now work like new again and it's been a couple of months so I'm very pleased with my purchase.

SMALL sized bottle - about 4 Tablespoons of product
Ignore the "pinewood car" part of the description - this is simply DRY, POWDERED graphite (NOT liquid). Posted photo show size of bottle, which is about 3/4 inside diameter. I'd guesstimate you get about 4 Tablespoons of powder. the powder is FINE and smoothly ground, so works well for lubrication. Bottle appears to be filled to top of label, so ALMOST completely full. If you've never used before, graphite powder CAN be messy and WILL get your fingers dirty. The metal applicator tip is nice, compared to plastic-tipped bottles of similar products. Shipped from Washington State. Received in central Alberta, Canada in 4 days, via Vancouver routing.
