I got 4! Which was great for my three kids 4,7,9 and I got one. While they outsiders can contact them. They was going crazy over it. Kept talking on it all day I had to turn the volume down. They was doing the most but love it!

The hardest part is setting them all to the same channel. They definitely do have a 1+ mile radius. Brought them camping and were gray for communicating when we had no cell service.

Bought these for my children and they love them! They do work long distance they are alittle hard to understand and get them on the same channel but nothing reading instructions cant solve. And i love the charger you can charge 3 at a time!

One of the walkie talkies would not switch channels no matter how many times you pushed the button. It didn't work at all. My third child did not have one to use!

I bought these for my 7 year old for Christmas. She had been wanting walkie talkies for a while. I really like the fact that you don’t have to keep buying batteries. These are rechargeable. After we went over the button controls a couple of times with her she was able to do them by herself. We have a farm with some acreage and she can take a walkie talkie with her and we can communicate with her as she’s out exploring. So we are enjoying them also.

Given as a birthday present but is still going strong.
