I was given an Oster pet dremmel with no bit for free so I purchased this diamond bit to go with it. I am not disappointed at all. It works great. Now, it could be because of the dremmel itself, my other pet grinders which are pictured are slow and are getting noisier (both purchased on Amazon). My dogs struggle a lot so I need one that goes fast. I was going to buy the dremmel brand until I got this one. Unfortunately it is pretty loud, but it goes fast and seems to do a really good job. It took half the time of the old ones for sure. I’m very impressed so far, very noticeable difference in how fast it grinds down the nail compared to my old ones. The shape of the body of the tip and the top of it really help to keep the nail steady as you grind and shape it correctly. I rarely write reviews either but this warranted a review.

Fits my Dremel well and is less abrasive to the dogs nails. The paper has a tendency to rip the edge of the nails and leave frays. This model doesn’t do that and works more slowly - which is good for the dogs as it is gentle. Highly recommend.

Bought this bit in 2021 and only now did I need to replace it because it's finally showing signs that it's wearing down, but even then I could still use it on my dogs claws for probably another year or more before it would be completely unusable. I don't care who the manufacturer is, the grey/silver "Diamond coated" bits are no better than standard sanding drums and are a waste of money. This blue tungsten carbide bit is the only bit that has stood the test of time.Edit: You might be saying "that's not even the same one that's being sold on this page" and you'd be half correct. OVATAVO also sells this blue bit through this listing, but it seems they don't manufacture it nearly as much as the "diamond coated" bits. Possibly because the blue one lasts longer and that means less sales? I originally bought it 2021 and it went out of stock until 2023 when they finally started selling it on this page again; less than a month after I ordered it, it was out of stock again. So if you see this blue one listed for sale, get it before it's gone.

He kicks and screams when we do his nails, this tool saves a lot of time and aggro, used some standard dremel bits before this but it was not as easy to round the nails off nicely.

My friend has 2 dachshunds, & asked if I could order one. She is very pleased with results.
