DORCO Metal Safety Razor with Travel Case

Gives a nice comfortable shave.

This was a terrific razor for the price, smooth shave, easy to replace blades and a very sturdy travel case. Unfortunately the one and only time I dropped the razor mid shave the hinge on one of the wings snapped clean off rendering it effectively useless. I used it for eighteen months without a problem, but one slip and now in the market for a replacement. I'm tempted to get another at this price, but will be trying to find a sturdier option first.

Really happy with the razor. I have quite thick hair and simple razors are blunt with the first pass so buying multiple becomes costly, and if using the cheap ones i look like ive stuck my face into a wood chipper. This razor is really good quality, solid and well designed and the carry case comes in really handy. I usually pay £5 for 100 derby razor blades which is exceptional value. I am still getting used to the method but its getting better each shave and becoming cleaner and less bleeding. Paired with an alum block and I now get a smooth shave

Good size. Blade angle is subjective, but with a sharp blade, good enough for me. Good value.

This is a very well made safety razor, the opening mechanism with the twist action at the bottom of the handle works really well. It is easy to clean and looks really smart.The case is great for travelling and also has room to put spare razor blades in.I would have no hesitation in recommending this razor.

Good for the cost

I bought this to replace my dad's more than fifty year old three piece razor I was using as the the thread had worn thin and I wanted to keep it for sentimental reasons.Because of it's low cost, I wasn't expecting much for the money and thought of using it as an interim between something more expensive.Very much to my surprise, I found this razor to have a sturdy and accurate butterfly mechanism that holds the blade firmly in place, with rather lavish chromium plating and a good overall balance. The travel case is a bonus. I won't be looking to upgrade it as I don't feel the need to.

Does not include a blade despite 1 blade listed in description and the order requiring 18+ ID to collect. This forced me to order a pack of blades afterwards which oddly did not require ID. The blades are cheap so it's no issue, they should just change the description to clarify that you should also buy blades separately. Otherwise seems good.
