Product sent is not always same as product listed
This is the second time I have purchased this product. The first time I bought it the package was different than the package shown. It was delicious and a fairly dark brown. This time it also was in a different package than shown and a pale color and not as tasty at all. I also noticed it contains “sulfates” added as a preservative, which I would not have purchased if that had been on the lable in the photograph. When I attempted to initiate a return I learned this product is not eligible for return. Wish I could get my money back.

never buy from this person again
buyer says 4.4lbs, but what they sent was only 2lbs; it doesn't look anything close to the picture. it say more sugar than jaggery in it.

Like The Chevy Commercial: "Like A Rock"!
We watched a documentary on the making of this sugar product and decided to give it a try. It is sugar, after all, so it is sweet (no surprise there) and my Indian friends tell me that folks on that continent eat it just the way it is. We use it as a sweetener for coffee, and the only drawback is how HARD it is! It takes serious muscle to scoop out a teaspoon. We just didn't know that, so it is no fault of the product.
