We bought this for a covid activity, my 7 and 10 year old daughters were quarantined in a shared room.It's important to not let your children open the gems and dump them. They are each color coded with the stickers. I went through and put each package in the small baggies provided. I had my daughters take out several gems at a time. My 7 year old had a hard time at first lining the gems up evenly and was a little disappointed with her 1st sticker: but that quickly turned around on her second attempt. The gems also stay really well.This is a slowly tedious(in a good way) activity. If your children like making detailed crafts this is a great choice. My girls where quiet for over an hour at a time making their stickers.

Fun shapes, and adequate magnet strength. A little frustrating that the colored dot packets frequently contained a small number of dots that didn't match (green dots in white packet, dark pink mixed with light pink). So be sure you have good lighting as you're sorting dots, making the crafts, and transferring dots into the (included) resealable baggies to prevent mistakes. I purchased these for my 9yo to work on fine motor skills and visual focus. She thought they were so fun that she finished 8 of them in one day! My 6yo also enjoyed this craft. The finished magnets also make fun gifts.

I didn’t open this because it was supposed to be a gift for a granddaughter, but one look at the box and I knew I couldn’t send it. She would be too disappointed. It honestly looks like all it has inside is the unicorn keychain, but there is no cellophane anywhere, so I can’t tell. I wish I had paid attention to the box size given in details but I had no reason to expect this. Just puny. Lousy packaging. I can’t believe I paid more than $18 for it & that was a special price! It will be returned. I’ve already ordered something else.

Very surprised that the gem size on this children's craft kit was so small. I couldn't pick up individual gems easily and neither could my granddaughter. We'd enjoyed gem "painting" with another manufacturer's kit, but gems were at least 3 times the size. Can't recommend.
