Dog Silencer and Connector, Pink

This is a great silencer. I've tried a few out there and am happy to have found this one.Pros:First, it's easy to use. Pop off the rubber stopper and unscrew to add or remove tags.Second, it is a nice look. By that, I mean it doesn't draw your eye to it and you don't have some weird thing hanging from your dog's neck. You can still see those are his/her tags.Third, it works! No more jingle. Though I like the jingle during the day, I am so happy to not hear it at night.Forth, it's durable. With my active dog's shenanigans and even his new puppy sister gnawing on the thing, it has held up nicely. I've had other silencers break on me before. Granted, over the years this one might, but then again so do metal rings (which have also broken on me before).Fifth, it holds all my dogs tags (up to 4 and looks like I could still fit another).Cons:First, the rubber covers up some of your tag's info. I'm not sure a stranger could easily look at it and figure out that the rubber stopper needs to be popped off to expose the screw. Honestly though, I couldn't think of a different design and if a stranger is needing the tag info, I'd be happy for them to cut it up if need be to find out how to reach me.Second (and not really sure this is a con), those tags with teeny holes may not fit. I had an old tag from Etsy that I had to replace a while ago due to its too small hole. I brought it out when this silencer arrived, but it still didn't fit. Why I'm not sure this is a bad thing is due to the durability of the screw. If it were any smaller, it probably wouldn't hold up as well and, in the end, I'd rather take peace of mind.

Great item to minimize the jingling and scratching of tags. I also love how easy it is to remove the tags if needed. I use a martingale color at home but for boarding a regular clip collar is required and this product can be removed quickly and hassle free and reattached super quick.

I threw away my dirty rubber shaped tag silencers and was looking for something better. I came upon “Freeze Tag” Pet Tag Silencer.And guess what? It works!! I’m so happy. It’s easy to put the tags on too. I’m never going back to rubber shaped silencers.Freeze Tag has definitely lessened my annoyance of jingling metal tags. Thank you!!

Our pup has 3 tags (license, rabies, and name tag), the name tag is a thicker one that we ordered from Fosters and Smith, the other 2 are the typical super thin ones. I like this silencer. It seems to be working well ... but not without flaws.Pros:- Easy to put tags on (I had no issues with the bolt fitting through any of her tags as other reviewers noted)- Easy to put onto the D ring of her collar- Easy way to eliminate the risk of hooking leash to tag ring rather than collar ring (our pup got loose one night because of this exact accident!)- Does actually silence the tags, although that was not the main reason for my ordering it- Despite some serious ROUGH housing and wrestling at the dog run, these have stayed put where they are supposed toCons:- all 3 tags did not fit, her name tag is too thick to fit on with the other 2 tags. It would fit with one other tag, but not both of them. Still deciding how to manage this issue, since I'm not sure I want 2 of these on her collar (not sure how that would look), but I do NOT want the name tag on a ring.- I keep waiting for it to pop off at the dog run, so I am pretty vigilant on checking before leaving the run.Time will tell whether this can last.

I’m so glad we got this, no more jingle! We have 4 tags on ours and it fits great.

Works great, prevents the tags on my dog's collar from clanging/jostling together which is the intended purpose of this item. Easy to use once you learn how (the packaging shows you how to "install" and use it), and also quick and easy to remove and change it to a different collar or object if you wish to do so. Also nice that it holds all the tags as a group (instead of individually like they would be without the Freeze Tag) so it doesn't have to be more complicated than it needs to be if moving or removing to somewhere else. Seems to be high quality and made well from what I can tell. Sturdy, simple and useful product that doesn't cause me to worry about the tags falling off or not being securely attached, which makes it worth the peace of mind alone in my opinion. Have only had it for a few months, but is working great so far and I intend to keep and use it for a long time.

This truly does silence the tags. You need to take the tags off their rings in order to connect them to this silencer. So far this has held up great and no more jingling of the tags

For a long time I just took my dog’s collar off since her tags drove me crazy at night. I recently moved and wanted my dog to have her information on her just in case, but the tags still drove me nuts. This is the answer to my prayers. Easy to install and keeps the tags from flopping against themselves. Definitely recommend this.

Perfect for attaching several dog tags and keeping them quiet. We’ve used it for around 5 years and had no issues. Never needed tightening etc. Our dog is very sneaky now that we can’t hear the jingle of tags! But I think it was noisy for her to listen to tags all the time, I know it would drive me nuts. We tried a pouch for tags but it was hard for people to get our contact info if she gets lost. This is the best quiet solution that still allows easy access to the info on dog tags.

Mis perros son grandes y fuertes (arriba de 35 Kg). Les compré estos sujetadores porque rompieron los que tenían (las clásicas argollas para llaveros) y no quería correr el riesgo de que se salieran de la casa sin sus placas.Investigué varias opciones y ésta me convenció, aunque su principal trabajo es silenciar el ruido que hace una plaquita al chocar con el collar.Llevan usándolo más o menos 2 meses y como la plaquita ya no hace ruido ya no les llama la atención y no buscan mordisquearla. Tampoco se les ha caído y eso que les encanta correr en el parque, jugar a las luchitas y meterse a un río.Actualización: 1 año después, estos sujetadores siguen como nuevos. Nunca se les han caído. Mis perros ahora pesan más de 40kg y son igual de activos.

Bought this as all I can hear on a group dog walk is the tags clapping. I wanted to put her tag on without disturbing her or us when she wears it. This product is perfect and the only one on the market . Would recommend it, worth the money. Had to search on the web as this product not so well known in the UK. Going to order a second one.
