Goodby tomato and raspberry seeds
I do not like seeds in the food I preserve. So raspberries and tomatoes were going to be made into preserves this year when this marvelous tool arrived. I used one a few years ago to remove tomato seeds when making tomato sauce. This year I needed a new tool to replace the worn-out one and the end product was many wonderful bottles of preserves without seeds.

heavy use during canning season without fail.
Used hand cranked version for years and still do. However we added the power version this season and it to hasn't disappointed. heaviest use during apple sauce season and they both work great.
