The price is great, the heat gun works well
I bought this to repair my splitting iPhone charging cables. The tubes that come with this kit are JUST barely big enough to fit over the small end of the Apple branded cable. We have a couple amazon branded cables in the house where these supplied tubes are too small to fit. So if this is why you’re purchasing this kit. Be advised of the fit issue. I assumed that because there were 4 colors, they were different sizes, but they are all the same size. Other than that. The price is great, the heat gun works well. I’ve repaired and/or reinforced 4 charging cables, and in doing so, have already paid for this kit, being that I don’t have to buy new ones.

melts candles well.
I like it. I make soy candles and every now and then I get a bubble or frosting on the side of a glass that I can't fix without remelting the whole candle, which you can't do when you have more then one color, or toppings on top. This let me reheat just the side of the candle, chase the bubble up and fixed a lot of my frosting and bubble issues. Now granted it did let the colors mix while doing this, which is fine in a chocolate covered chocolate shake... It'll also help with uneven tops and to crunchy looking whipped toppings... I'm happy with... And I'm betting I'll be able to use it to loosen up cooled wax in the tip of my piping bag while making the cupcake ones.... which sucks cuz it's soooo hard to get out. I like this little thing. I dunno how it'll work for any other crafty project. But it works pretty cool for a small time candle maker. lol

Works great. Power cord is too short.
Works great after using for the first week or so. Much better than a lighter or matches for shrink tubing.Power cord needs to be at least 6 feet, but is only 35" (0.9m).... -1 star for the tiny power cord.Way too short...Otherwise a handy little unit assuming it lasts. Comfortable balance, heat is accurate enough for my purposes shrinking tubing. Not really accurate enough without other nozzle shapes for most hot air de-soldering, but it makes enough heat for de-soldering for the salvage of parts. Just know it will affect nearby parts too. You can mask with some aluminum foil in most cases, but extra nozzles would be better.

Makes life easier
Great purchase, before I bought this I was using a blow dryer to skrink my battery wraps on my 18650/20700 batteries. I got sick of burning my fingers and spending 15 minutes per wrap. This thing works great, works fast, and is light weight. What more can you ask for!

Great Little Tool
I have had this for a year. Works great on shrink wrap and using as a heat source to cut bottles. You can watch YouTube videos on how to do this. Much easier than dealing with hot water.

Good overall, but be careful when using
I purchased two of this for a home project. The outside quality and design is great. The internals not so much. After a few minutes of use one of the devices started smoking and stopped working. Being a handy electronics person, I opened and found that the solder connecting the power to the small motor had disintegrated. This didn't seem to have any heat shrink and cables look undersized for 300 watts AC power. I solder it back up and it is back to working. I was surprised how cheaply the internals looked (heater, heat shield and cables and their connections), but they get the job done.

which a bigger fun can do
This is a very efficient little heat gun. I use it to dry rotted wood trim before repair work. Plenty of power, won't set the wood on fire, which a bigger fun can do. Does not blow hard, but heat guns are not supposed to. Few users seem to understand this, based on the reviews of ALL guns. It is fine for household duty.
