Immediately I noticed the lightweight feel and comfortable ergonomic handle
This reel arrived in a classy package. Immediately I noticed the lightweight feel and comfortable ergonomic handle. Fished with my son at local fishing holes. It handles great. Great to see a company developing quality reels with a desire to give back to the community by putting kids combos in the hands of kids who couldn't afford them otherwise. Buy one of these!

Not as good as they say
Thought the cs6 would be a good reel for light inshore. Once I started reeling it right out the box, turning the handle feels rough and feels like it has a skip at the top of the turn

Out of the box not impressed with the quality and not very smooth kinda crunchy and feels kinda cheap

Starts out good then goes VERY BAD
I am a rod builder have been for over 30 years. I am always looking for reasonably priced dependable reels.Thought I found them in Cadence. NOPE. I bought 13 different models from the top CS10 to the CS5 all Spinning. They all either began to grind on retrieve or stick in spots so bad the pressure to continue reeling was ridiculous. Only used in freshwater and taken very good care of. Having so many rods and reels I don't even have that many hours on them. I can't recommend these to my customers any more they are having similar issues with the reels and the horrible customer service. Very sad as I bought into their whole model as a company. You would think customer service it essential within that model - It is not.
