Not 2 ohms😞 but still great
The sub sounds great and seems to be awesome quality but... It reads 3.2 ohms on a multi-meter and when i try to wire it to 1 ohm it reads 2.3 (ive tried different multi meters hoping mine was reading wrong but sadly all said the same) so i cant get full power out of my amp. But atleast it still thumps.

BANGER!
I purchased this sub because, unfortunately, the Punisher wouldn't fit behind the seat of my dodge with a proper box, however I am not disappointed! The only down fall, if you're a cheap as* like me and buy the slim, behind the seat, $50 box: you're gonna need to massage the opening a very small amount. And you're gonna need a spacer ring.Outside of that I can't wait to get a better amp driving this thing. Currently using a Rockville DB12, going to a Skar 800.1D.Even with the DB12 running it on 4ohms, it moves a hell of a lot more air than my little kicker comp 10 did!Only reason for 4 stars, I don't have a proper amp driving it yet. I'm hoping it beats the windows out of my megacab!Update: I have a Skar RP800d.1 driving this thing now and it is outstanding! My only complaint would be a power off "pop", but I believe that is the nature of the Amp or maybe a symptom of having more power driving a sub than I've ever personally owned. This sub rattles my megacab and it's pure amusement. Kids love it, I love it, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this sub, just supply it with the proper amount of power.

Can’t beat them for the price!
Have 3 12’s in a 5 cubic ft box and they are loud and sound good. The amp is a taramps smart 3. The amp is definitely too powerful for the subs so I have to watch it. The subs look great too. I had two sundown sa12’s version 2’s. The Rockville subs are louder for sure granted it’s two compared to three. But the sundowns are 300$ a piece these are 75$. Are the ratings accurate? Probably not but who cares. just don’t clip them and treat them right and you shouldn’t have a problem. I’m pleased.

Rockville ROCKS!!!
I'm still playing with these subs but so far I'm blown away by the sound and power. I keep forgetting how little the subs cost compared to the value. I'm running at 1 Ohm and it's tight, clean bass. I had to modify enclosures as others pointed out since it's a little bigger than typical 12" subs. That was the biggest pain so if you can - get the right size enclosure to make life easier.I'm so impressed with these I'll be replacing my Alpine Type R 12 with these.

Didn
I freely admit that I am no expert in auto sound installation, and the prior subs and amp just didn't measure up - so was extremely happy when it all shorted out. Replaced with these subs and Rockville amp and am completely blown away over the depth of the bass, the hit of the beat and finally can now realize how a sound system should be for the little money spent on this upgrade. Will be upgrading my boat system soon and looking to use Rockville again for all components. Well built with good materials.
