I ordered this as a gift. I have lots of Tibetans singing bowls and play them all the time for meditation. I bought this one for my daughter. Horrible HORRIBLE craftsmanship!! The outside is not smooth. Lots of little nicks around the edges which prevents it from singing. The striker has rough spots all around the velvet (I’m assuming is cheap glue used) and the wooden end makes a terrible sound as it goes around the bowl where there are nicks. VERY disappointed with my purchase! Truth is, the price is cheap because the bowl is cheap. If you want a high quality bowl, bite the bullet and pay the higher price. Lesson learned on my end.
