This is made with Indian chili peppers ehich is twice as hot as cayenne peppers. This isva good product which I usevand love. Be careful with the amount you use. A litte goes a long way!

This Indian chilli powder is not as hot as cayenne pepper. I use it in a recipe for pork vindaloo that requires 2 pounds of cubed pork shoulder with 1 tablespoon of this chilli powder plus 1 Tbsp of similarly hot Kashmiri mirch. (You would not use 2 Tbsp of cayenne pepper!)

Gluten free ingredients, however not processed in a special gluten free facility.
