The bundle includes one set of Purifan Factory Certified PA1 Allergy Filters. The motor must be mounted to the ceiling in a manner that complies with all applicable local electrical and installation codes. The Purifan will be mounted instead of the 52-inch paddle blades included with the motor.

Amazing difference
When we got a cat -- and I'm highly allergic to cats -- we got this Purifan to help reduce cat dander and hair. What I didn't expect was how well this product filters air and the amazing difference in dust that we also saw. When installed, which is really easy by the way, you can see all the allergens suspended in the air being sucked up into the filter! It's really amazing to watch. We have a dust problem in our home which usually requires serious dusting every two weeks. The reduction in dust on our bedroom furniture, which is where we installed the fan, remains remarkable. I'd say dust has been cut down 80%. No other air filters really compare to the volume of air that the Purifan moves. One more thing, the Purifan is still a ceiling fan too. EXCEPT, it blows the air out to the sides of the filter, versus downward. So you still have the pleasant sensation of cooling and moving air without the "freezing" feeling that can come from the fan blowing air downward on you. My wife especially enjoyed this difference.
