Good OEM replacement
My original deck mandrels lasted almost 8 years till 1 started to shows signs of wear. These units bolt right in, well I should mention the new mandrel bolt holes are not threaded. The bolts will bolt down easily but, I tapped 2 of the 4 holes and bolted the mandrel up loose and snugged it up. Put on the new blades and pumped 5-6 shots of grease in each new mandrel.

Prefect fit
Right outboard spindle failed with a rupture occurring on the top most part, perhaps due to a failed casting,replaced with this item and mower is back in business. Very easy to install with no problems, a good value for the price.

Perfect fit, runs like new
Direct fitment on the MZ61. The bearings press in to place when the pulley nut is tightened. The blades ran 1000% smoother and the grass cut much better after replacing all three spindles. (I must have beat the crap out of the old ones) I had to reuse the old self tapping screws, but those went in easy with an impact drill. A few squirts with the grease gun and I was mowing everything down like it was new!

Simple to install
Very easy to install, just take the belt off the pully, remove 4 bolts old ones off and new one's on. Replace belt on pully and start cutting grass. EASY

Appears OEM but quality is so-so
As others have communicated item does not ship in Manufacturer's box/includes no paperwork; however, close analysis of it shows appearance to be either OEM or REALLY good counterfeit. Sloppy clearances - more loose than 8 year old originals on mower. Comes with NO hardware and since item is not tapped other's have suggested that new bolts be ordered in case re-use of old ones does not go well. Had a 5/16-18 tap handy so tapped this item before installation. One of my bolts broke during removal but had a spare 5/16 x ? bolt and washer so it all ended well. Item comes without grease and will take about a 1/4 tube to fill up - so factor that into your purchases. On the good side it was extremely easy to pump full - wish it had an exit point so that one would know when it is full. Chinese bearings; however, original had chinese bearings as well. Overall, not unhappy with item; however, sloppiness of clearances is very concerning.
