My curly-haired daughter loves these pillowcases, as they keep her hair tidier. “Regular” cases catch her hair, causing more tangles and knots to brush out. Lulusilk cases don’t muss her hair like cotton or flannel does, making her morning routine faster and easier. The cases are delicate - we run them through a hand-wash cycle in a lingerie bag, air dry, and put them on carefully to avoid a zipper pull. With good care, they’re lasting well over a year.

I have several satin pc and wanted a "real" silk one. The silk one doesn't seem to keep my hair from "messing up" as well as the satin ones do. I was really surprised. I mean-- it's not that bad looking, but I feel I could have saved myself the extra dollars and just used the satin ones. Maybe my hair is just different than most. Anyway-- nice pillowcase. Doesn't wrinkle too badly. PRO: I do love that it zips and keeps the pc on the pillow.

I bought this one and another by Alaska Bear each for about the same price. They both seem to be identical - 100% mulberry silk, 19 MOMME. The AB says it's 600 thread count. I'm not sure about this one.On first opening them, the AB seemed a little softer but not enough to say one was nicer than the other. I use this one and my daughter has the AB. I found the material got a little softer after using it.I purchased it in hopes of keeping my hair a little nicer overnight as I was getting some serious bed head. I feel confident saying that this pillowcase is helping and I can tell the difference on a few nights I went back to my regular pillowcase. My daughter also confirms that her very long hair is a little less snarly after using this pillowcase. It's not a miracle but enough to make me bring it along when we've gone away for a weekend. I first looked at sleep bonnets but thought this seemed easier. For now, I'll stick with the pillowcase solution.However, I washed this case for the first time in a lingerie bag along with other clothes. Part of the stitching on the zipper came out. I can repair it but since it happened on the first wash, which I believe I did safely and correctly, I'll buy another in the Alaska Bear brand (which also came in a real white which I prefer over this ivory/natural white).

Color is exactly as pictured (at least on my monitor). Very pleased.Silk pillowcases, by the very nature of the fabric, are going to be thin and delicate. Yes, of course they wrinkle and need a light ironing touch-up (if it bothers you). Just like 100% cotton, silk is not a wrinkle-free fabric and get a kick out of reviews complaining about wrinkles. After washing, wrinkles are expected. Period.I wash all silk pillowcases folded, placed in a small mesh laundry bag, in cool (not cold) water, on gentle cycle (no agitator). I hang-dry over a laundry rack, smoothing them as they dry - NO dryers! While they are still damp, I fold them in thirds and hang them back up to finish drying, smoothing them in between. They come out fine.I only use silk pillowcases and have tried many different brands. Essentially, they are all the same, except for the combo silk / cotton cases. Stitching can vary, but that is a production error and sometimes the zippers are funky. The LULUSILK cases are fine - no zipper or stitch mishaps.Bottom line, happy with these essentially because the color is exactly what I wanted and the quality is good.

This pillow case is amazing! I only have one but can not wait to repurchase 2 more! If you are a side sleeper and care for your skin this is the pillow case for you. Currently I am on a acne medication that is drying the heck of my skin and unfortunately cotton/polyester pillow cases were not cutting it so I bit down and paid the money for this pillow case and let me tell you it was worth every penny! The material is still good I haven’t had one single problem. I either hand wash it with Purex clean and free or All clean and free; sometimes I will throw it in the washer if I’m lazy but I always let it air dry and so far so good. I’ve noticed my skin is not as dry. Its still dry(due to my medication but this pillow has helped 10 folds with the problem, especially since I’m a side sleeper. During the day if I take a nap on a different pillow case I instantly notice the difference. If you are hesitant on buying this pillow case I say do it now! You will absolutely love it.

Very nice. This and one other silk pillow case I bought same time were my first silk ones. Looking at and feeling them both, you'd swear they were the identical pillowcase, maker, etc. Only difference is the tags. So, I now have 2 equal options.The pillow case is smooth, substantial silk fabric - very comfy. Tonight, currently in fact, is my first time using it. Awesome. I hand washed, rolled in towel and gently squeezed, twice, then hung to dry. That only took a few hours, which was nice. You can machine wash, but it'll probably last much longer washing by hand. I change pillowcases every 2nd day usually, so will alternate this and the other. (It seems often, and I used to go longer in between, but after getting worst "blemish" ever, I stepped it up)! Anyway, as long as this is durable, I guarantee I'll buy more of these! Highly recommend!

This is a lovely pillowcase. It's lovely and soft and doesn't crease much after sleeping on it. I also love the zip opening too - (I think all pillowcases should have this feature). Very happy with this purchase, and it arrived on time.

I wasn't sure about buying silk pillowcases but as I suffer from bad skin and i sleep on my front I thought it couldn't hurt to try. Overall I love the feel of them, I find them nicer to sleep on (especially as I sleep on my front). There is a lot less skin irritation, I cannot specifically say that it has made my skin clearer but my skin does seem a lot less irritated. On a small note I also love how cool they feel compared to cotton cases.
