Dr. Comfort Men's Boss Diabetic Boots: Black 13 X-Wide (3E/4E)

not exclusive to the diabetic. looks well made, feels well made. added a spenco insert, used dr comfort insole, and i have a everyday boot for work and around the house. non-insulated so i can wear it into the warmer months, and for me not waterproof(can apply later) which also adds heat during everyday wear. all said, should be good to go for a couple of years, i am hard on my footwear!

Well made, but not a walking boot. It's more like a work or hiking boot. Leather is very thick and heavy. Ankle fit rubs and is very uncomfortable, to the point of pain. I'm disappointed as I have other Dr. Comfort shoes and they are extremely comfortable and fit well. Unfortunately I had a lift installed on the sole so I can't return it. Just know what you are buying.

I'm Diabetic plus my left ankle is very weak and the boots act like a brace to keep my ankles straight.

I have to ware Orthparic shoes because of nuropthy in my feet. I have worn Dr Comfort shoe in the past. with good results, But these boots are really painful and even left my feet bleeding.I do not know if there is some defect in manufacturing or if they are just junk.

Like fit. Dislike the boot lace. Very short and difficult to lace up.

I cannot day enough good about these boots. I’ve struggled for years to find shoes that don’t hurt my feet. I’m not diabetic, but I have lupus which leads to very similar problems. I was resigned to wearing only converse because they were the only thing I could find. But I really needed boots. I was super nervous to buy boots online when my feet are so finicky... but these are perfect. I’ve worn them for a week now and my feet are happy as can be. No pain. At all. I don’t have to look like a child, and I don’t have to wear super ugly shoes. The unbuckle is great quality, as is the construction. I’m so grateful. Absolutely worth the price. And I really don’t say that about much.

I have used Dr Comfort for 10 years. I have never found a match to the comfort they provide. I have two pairs of work boots. The Boss is my second purchase of this type the pair I just replaced were better than 10 years old. I did have them re- soled twice. A tribute to how well the boots are made. I wore the Boss a majority of the times as a Inspector on New Jersey construction sites. These boots are only surpassed in durability by comfort. They are light weight and fit my feet like a glove. I routinely wiped and cared for the boots with saddle soap and it helped to preserve the boots for sure. Worth every penny. Quality unsurpassed. A former " Inspector of the Year" for Lockheed Martin, O know Quality.

The hook eyelet popped off the first time I tied them. Very disappointed. This was my third pair, I returned them. They are some of the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn but they don’t hold up. My other 2 pair fell apart. They don’t warranty for very long.
