Didn’t like the quality of the book itself. Look of a used book. Doesn’t look straight and neat. Disappointed. The information is valuable though.

It’s something we all need to understand why we are who we are.

This book was very eye opening and healing. It enables the reader to understand and see the patterns of emotionally immature parents. It helped me understand the pattern of behaviors of my parents as I grew up and also understand why my childhood was the way it was. This can help anyone on the road to healing from childhood wounds.

This was very enlightening for me. My therapist told me that people who have a certain trauma as children have their emotional maturity stall at the age of the trauma. So I read this book and it nailed it. All the characteristics that have been frustrating me about my mom my whole life were laid out. It was easy to read and understand. It was validating and I don’t have anger about it anymore. Now I just try to navigate my interactions with this new understanding that I have. Now I’m reading it again to self evaluate for personal growth. Definitely recommend.

Este libro me ayudo muchísimo a comprender cosas que no había podido soltar acerca de mi familia que al final solo me dañaban a mi. Fue el primer libro no literario que leí, pues era escéptica pero afortunadamente lo leí.
