Easy to apply - but buy a little more than you think you need.
This was easy to apply using a small travel iron and looks great. Plenty of adhesive is on the tape and it stuck well to the edges but no excess glue oozed out.Plan to buy extra if you need close to 25'. I did the edges of a board that was supposed to be 4’ x 8’ (actually it was 49” x 96.5” - which is 24’ 3” worth of edge) and I was about 1/4” short of completing the job. Not a big deal for me because it is just my work table but if this is to finish the edges of something you care about buy a little extra.

Pretty good banding
Might be a little heavier on glue than others out there, but it's not a big deal. It works pretty good. And it's much more durable than a similar brand I bought locally. You have to really bend & crease it to break it off. Easier to just clip it with snips. It's a thin, but good product.

Good finish, but too much adhesive
I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the melamine surface on this edge banding. It is as good as, if not better, than what you can get in most big box stores. The color and gloss are true and consistent, and the texture is a very fine pebble. Plus the edges are very straight, as some other brands can be jagged. It's comparable to others in that it requires iron heating at a cotton setting, and just a few smooth presses. What I do not find as useful is the amount of adhesive on the band. There is far more of it than any other brand I use, and it is spread in quite a coarse layer (see left side of picture, placed next to a comparable product on the right). While the high amount of adhesive does provide a superior level of adhesion, the band is placed higher off the surface and needs far more pressure to lay flat. As a result, a lot of the adhesive gets squeezed out, and needs clean-up. Fortunately, any slight layment issues can be corrected by reheating the tape before the adhesive completely sets, but with the amount of adhesive don't expect to be able to make large corrections. I would buy again, even knowing it adds 10% to the time and effort to use.

Would buy again
First time using an iron on product. Had about 15 feet of shelving in my closet that I wanted to finish off. I figured if it was a flop, then at least it would be in my closet for only my husband an I to see.I was worried glue would ooze on my nice iron and ruin it, but no accidents.I kept my iron on medium heat, no burn marks; and product adhered well. I used a scrap piece of wood to press it down like the directions said.It was so easy that I would buy more if I need to again.
