This clamp is great. I mount my ipad to a light stand and have no issue with stability. Everything mounts nicely. Just make sure to properly tighten the clamps because the ipad is smooth and will slip out if you don't tighten properly. Very useful in studio.

I use these to turn selfie sticks into iPad stands and now use this one with a standard mic stand. They are high quality and very compact. I get a stand, iPad and guitar into the soft guitar case so I can cycle to acoustic gigs, the weight and size of the stand is important. I like that it clips in a position well away from any buttons and will clip far enough round the iPad case to hold it. Wouldn’t work with a thick case but the case I use is suitable
