Nice unit, well made, heavy metal construction, outlet itself is quality. Raises VERY slow (kinda cool, but not if you're in a hurry) and locks open (have to push button, then push outlet down, nice feature)

easy to install and the pop up feature is excellent in an awkward spot in our kitchen

The ground fault outlet is both weather and tamper resistant. Opening action is nicely damped, and the wiring is super simple. The outlet is completely surrounded by metal that seems as if it should last decades. By appearances a quality product that should work well.The product came with minimal packaging, cheap cardboard box in a plastic mailing bag. The box was crushed, with a cover plate for a concrete or tile floor install broken (not needed for my use). The hinged portion of the unit was pushed to one side slightly; bent, but still functional.Overall a quality product, marred by poor packaging.

All 3 of the products I ordered were wired reverse polarity inside of the unit to the receptacle. Simple fix but I had to remove them in order to fix it.
