I love Cold Steel products especially with the Tri-ad lock and pocket snag. I also really wanted a Krambit style knife. Unfortunately the very tip/point broke off the first week I had it. Apparently it’s not the work horse that my CS Ak47 is. And I wasn’t real wild about the chisel ground blade.

Not exactly a fast to open knife. It is solid but it comes with a cheap implementation of an Emerson wave opening mechanism that works not reliably enough. Otherwise, the knife is rock solid and, once successfully deployed, a powerful tool. But why did Cold Steel decide on this low cost chisel grind? The steel is good S35VN that holds an edge well. As usual the pocket clip is ultra tight. So be careful not to rip off your pants when pulling this knife quickly out of your pocket.

Bought it for 110$. Razor sharp right out if the box. Premium steel (S35VN). I wished for XHP version but there is nothing wrong with S35VN version. Strong Tri-Ad lock.The only con is the handle could have been better since it is a bit larger than needed which gives it uncomfortable grip if you used the ring. I own Fox FKMD FX599TIC which has a better steel (ELMAX) and super comfortable handle but it would cost you at least 3 times of this Cold Steel Tiger Claw. Still Cold Steel Tiger Claw karambit is a good buy at this price point.

Came out of box sharp as hell with high quality steel. Larger than I thought it would be but I am not complaining.

Way better than the older version, my favorite for work related needs, etc amazing and easy to sharpen -very very slicey and very easy to sharpen on a sharpmarker.. durable my new favorite

Way too large. This is more of a novelty item as opposed to a useable knife.The knife is comically huge.

Sharp!!! this thing is sharp! I love how it sets the bar for sharpness. My own father, a fisherman, told me this knife is sharper than anything he has used. I've never seen him look nervous to handle a knife. If it touches skin, you don't feel it, but you see the drops of blood on the ground. I would recommend this knife to anyone that takes knifes seriously. This is designed to be an everyday carry, its deployment is crisp, and can be carried on the worst case (basketball shorts with single draw string) to the best case scenario (combat pants with thick pockets
