Great experience for first time builder
Great kit. Helped my 6 year old nephew put it together. Parts fit together well and you can definitely play with it after being built. Warnings, you must follow the directions in order which is hard to impress on a 6 year year old. Suggest an adult pop in the plastic windows and apply the stickers. There are a bunch of stickers in the dash board, etc. You get two sets of stickers for exterior. Pick one. My nephew got done and then just started randomly slapping stickers all over the car. Took some fixing to get it right (photo is his sticker job). Doors and trunk open unless you put stickers in the wrong place. Ours came with extra parts.

My 3 year old loved it!
My 3-year old always watches me build my model cars and always wants to help daddy. So I went looking for junior kits and found these. They’re wonderful! Around 1/20 scale, they go together very easily with some adult supervision. It’s also nice that they can be disassembled and put back together again as many times as you’d like.

Fun for Granddon
My grandson of 5 loves it. He and his dad built it, but he feels like he did most of the work. Seems sturdy as well.

Does not stay together!
Falls apart every time you move the car no matter how tight you make it. Within first ten minutes the headlights fall out and we’re lost.

There was enough that the 6 year old could do to participate to hold his attention and it was a good project for bonding and spending time together
This was a project for my 6 year old grandson to put together with Grandpa. It went very well. There was enough that the 6 year old could do to participate to hold his attention and it was a good project for bonding and spending time together.

Ok kit but dont expect much from Revell, their quality control issues as always bring down the kit.
Pro'sFlash free plasticclear instructionsDecent kit overallCon'sTypical Revell quality (poor)Not all parts fit correctlyScrews are sized differently thus the prepacked screwdriver works on half of themI would not purchase for a child to do on their own, the quality makes it such that most kids will get irritated and give up. With a parent assisting its not too bad. Just dont expect quality from these kits.

Very disappointed because my son was very excited
Was missing the steering wheel and 1 headlight. Came with 2 sticker sheets and 2 instruction books. Very disappointed because my son was very excited...he loved the fire truck one!
