Tried this after seeing a post on social media. I really like the fact that the company is vet owned and supports that community.This rub gives a full flavor to everything. Picture is when I used it on pork chops, cooked on my Traeger. It has sugars which caramelize and give it a slightly sweet flavor. The heat kicks in at the end, but it's not overwhelming. If I want more heat, I use this as a base and then add to it with some chipotle or cayenne pepper. If I want no heat, I use their All Ration Rub. Overall, a great rub from a great company!

Some of the best bbq seasoning I've tried. I like a diverse cabinet of different smoking and barbecuing spices. This will be a welcome addition.

I made pulled pork ans BBQ baked beans the weekend they arrived. My wife immediately stated that it was the best pulled pork I’d ever made. Fast forward to Thanksgiving and I received the same comment on the Turkey. I’m no expert, but I e smoked enough meat to know I only changed one thing - the seasoning used. Used it on everything from smoked NY Strips (55 minutes at 225 w/ a strong wood & reverse sear on the cast iron doe 2 minutes per side) to Mac and cheese w/ amazing results. Highly recommend this wonderful, Veteran owned Midwestern business.

I have been buying spices from Burn Pit BBQ for over a year now. They have an assortment of spices and specialty BBQ sauces that will not let your tastebuds down. My personal favorites are “ground pounder” and “fire for effect.“ If you don’t BBQ you should still buy these spices to cook with. I put them on my burgers, chicken, ribs, bacon, and even eggs. I look forward to buying these spices for a long time as they have become a staple in my diet!

Pop Smoke for Dirty Rice, Fresh Chickpea Salad, and Avocado Toast. Ground Pounder with a touch of salt for the most amazing brocolli and Brussels sprouts ever! Fire in the Hole for a little heat.
