KavaKava Muscle Relaxant and Sleep Aid

First of all, for the price this product is being sold for here, you almost literally have nothing to lose by trying it. 69 cents for a month's supply? You can't pass that up for a supplement that benefits so many people like kava kava.As a disclaimer, I have not used any other kava kava product besides this one, so for those of you interested in using kava kava it is probably best to try at least a few other brands and compare it to this one. With that being said, this kava kava brand does have a subtle relaxation effect. The most I took was 2 at a time, so perhaps some people need to take higher amounts to achieve a more useful effect from it, but still 1 tablet produced a noticeable calming effect for me within 30-60 minutes, and the same effect was produced even faster and more noticeably for my brother, so there is obviously some individual difference in response to this product and probably kava kava in general. As for the uses indicated by the seller of the product (muscle relaxant and sleep aid), I did not experience any noticeable benefit in these areas, although others who have used this product have experienced benefits in these areas, so your mileage may vary.So my suggestion for anyone thinking about buying this product is buy 1 of these boxes to see if you experience any effect from it, up to dose to 2 or more tablets at a time if you don't notice any effect from 1 tablet, and if you notice a positive effect from a higher dose, buy the bulk powder to save some money if you plan on using it long term. However, this is a great kava kava product to buy just to test if you respond positively to kava kava based on the price alone.

i have been wanting to try Kava for awhile, as i have horrible time getting to sleep and pretty bad gnarly anxiety almost constantly.I dont take any prescription for either issue, and otc sleep aids like tylenol pm and zzzquil and even melatonin,make my legs restless and still do not put me to sleep. i am always hesitant now when trying things since nothing i had tried have not worked. i will admit today was relatively stress free to begin with, but i took two when the package arrived because i was expecting a hectic day at work. that didnt happen, but i am a bit more mellow than usual. I only gave it 4 stars because while i am super ready for bed tonight, it could be a coincidence, and i want to see how it will hold up the next few nights as even Ambien and lunesta had proven disappointing for me in the past and only made me feel silly for 30 mins and then id be wide awake again. i do NOT feel drugged at all which is awesome because i was afraid of that. just calm and relaxed. id definitely recommend giving it a try, for the price u cant really lose. it also arrived in about 3 days so not bad at all

I've been buying this brand for years because these are great for my GAD. I prefer using this to using prescription medication, actually, because there's no sleepy, drugged, or foggy feeling to go with it. It's perfect for daytime use because of this!

Don’t bother they did nothing for me

I have had chronic insomnia for almost 20 years and have never been able to find anything that works without the potential for addiction or forcing me to sleep. I've dealt with it pretty well but it comes and goes every few weeks or so and sometimes I need a little extra help. I prefer natural methods because they always work better for me and Kava is a natural sleep aid that has worked perfectly since the day I started using it. I started off with one and easily had one of the most restful nights than I've had all year. It doesn't make me sleepy, but helps me to relax enough to get to sleep when I feel ready. I have taken it during the day and I just feel calm- no drowsiness, no dizziness. It helps with sleeping with sore muscles after I workout as well. The only problem I have is buying multiple boxes, the company charges separate S&H for each one even though they ship them all in the same packaging- hence the 4 star. But honestly, that is a small price to pay for all the benefits I have had so far. Delivery is quick and the packaging is simple

I was surprised how effective this is. I don't feel particularly sleepy, but it definitely takes the "edge off" some anxiety I have been experiencing (medical issues, long story ... ). I tend to be rather skeptical of claims made for herbal dietary supplements, but I've found a few that actually do what they're supposed to do, and this is one of them.I take one in the morning about an hour after breakfast with a full glass of water, and it seems to work for around 6-8 hours or so.I realize this may not work for everyone, but it's probably worth a try given the modest price (as long as you check with your doctor first, especially if you take any prescription meds regularly).Is it perfect? No. It's probably probably about 75% as effective as a prescription muscle relaxant, but it's non-addictive, and works good enough for me to continue using it.Will definitely purchase again as long as I need it.

I bought these from reading reviews based on their experience. I understand that everyone gets a different reaction to it because of how we experience it. These kava kava pills are okay, they do a bit of their magic, but is not as strong as I thought it would turn out to be. Normally, kava kava itself would just be very potent when it is fresh as in when you drink it, I am not sure about the pill form but I did give it a try and it is so so for me. I was trying out different brands that would help relax the muscles and help sleeping, so this product is okay but i wouldn't buy it again. I only bought it to see if it would work and it is okay. It is entirely up to you if you want to give this product a try, it may not work for everyone else.
