This honey is way to sweet it overrides any flavor it may have. Since I cannot return it I will use it with hot sauce, soy sauce, pomegranate syrup, etc as a sweetner. Will not purchase again, I have purchased store bought with better taste and price.

read up on them and what they do - never been disappointed by this company. THIS hot honey is just the right kick. i literally dip everything in this or find things to drizzle it on for a little smokey punch of sweet heat. try it!! you’ll like it.

While this is decent quality honey and has the flavor of good honey, you would never be able to tell it was infused with hibiscus blossoms. It doesn't retain the bright red hue characteristic of hibiscus and its flavor is almost no different than regular honey except for an almost imperceptible fruity tartness that is only discernable when eaten straight. Hibiscus does have some nice health benefits like vitamin C, etc, but I doubt much of that is retained in this honey compared to if you were to just make some hibiscus tea for much less money. As such, I can't really rate this high stars when I see it as basically overpriced honey. It's a novelty item, maybe a good gift for a really devoted honey connoisseur who savors honey by the spoonful like a fine wine but even then, I don't think they would be THAT impressed. Nice idea but not an impressive result.

Although I know honey can crystalllize over time, I was a little disappointed to see some crystallization at the top of the jar when I first opened this Runamok honey. Still, it tastes delicious. This orange blossom honey is light in color -- almost like a citrus beer -- with a distinctive flavor. It tastes great as a sweetener, on toast, or drizzled over ricotta cheese.I know Runamok as more of a maple syrup company, so it was surprising to discover this honey produced in Florida's orange groves. If your honey arrives crystallized as mine did, you can liquify it through gentle heat or do as I did: scrape off the small amount of crystallized portion and eat it anyway.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Runamok Hibiscus Flower Infused Honey is a thick and delicious honey that is perfect for adding to your favorite recipes, spread over toast, or adding to a hot cup of tea. The honey is thick but drizzles easily and has a slightly crystallized consistency. The crystalization will probably go away if you choose the heat the honey - I'm guessing the only reason our bottle crystallized is because of the cold winter temperature. The flavor of the honey is very sweet and pleasant but is not overtly hibiscus flavored. Hibiscus has a very distinct flavor, and while this honey has good floral notes, I really couldn't detect any hibiscus infused in. It was disappointing that there weren't any distinctly hibiscus floral notes, but that said, it wasn't bad honey at all. It's definitely good enough to finish the bottle, but I wouldn't purchase this again simply because I felt like it was a keywording gimmick to get me to try the bottle. As plain honey, it was delightful, but if you're looking for a hibiscus flavored honey, I would probably shop around some more.

With the antibacterial benefits of a warm cup of honey lemon mix I use quite a bit of honey with my daily cup of honey lemon. This orange blossom honey is pleasantly light with just a hint of background citrus. Many varieties of honey are overly sweet. This honey has the perfect sweetness for a nice addition to your toast, pancakes, or mixed into your oatmeal. I also like to use honey in place of sugar in baking. The lightness of this honey allows me to add the sweetness needed in a cake without overpowering the taste or consistency. The jar of honey came securly packaged with a recipe card insert that included 2 recipes. I thought this was a nice touch and will definitely give the recipes a try. The overall taste is very nice and is similar to Thai honey.

Lightly sweet, bright, light floral notes, with hints of berry and citrus fruit. Delightfully delicious!📚 I love that this is product is bottled in a 100% solar powered facility!📚 The honey is thick but not so thick that it won't drizzle off a spoon. There was no crystallization, smooth consistency.📚 Summary… this is a fabulous honey! Bright and well balanced flavors, lightly sweet, excellent consistency, Fairly priced 👍👍
