Excellent adhesive to mount on windshield. Make sure you have it where you want it before you peel and press....it sticks instantly with no freeplay. The camera snaps easily into the mount and is very secure. The release works well. The screw adjustment for the desired camera position holds well.

So far it’s much better than the original
The original suction cup would fall off in the heat or. Cold. This replacement has worked great all summer and has not fallen once. A must have if you have the Vantrue N4. Note I have only had it for 3 months now.

Problem solved!
After about 10 months of using suction mounts for Vantrue dashcams in our vehicles, both my wife and I began having an "unpleasant surprises" almost every morning. Cameras were falling off. This mount equipped with M3 adhesive glue pads solved the issue instantaneously!We degreased the windshield spot where the mount had to be installed with isopropyl alcohol and attached the mounts. Cameras were hanged the next morning. It's been several months already and the mounts hold very well.
