Ok holster
It’s nice, but it didn’t feel like it would last under normal conditions in the field. My unboxing was ok, but roghtbaway it looked tiny or for a toy pistol instead. It actually fit my 6.5” Ruger New Blackhawk perfectly, and has very nice details. It doesn’t really stick out the bottom either. It had some rough edges as well but nbd. It’s nice if you’re going for a cowboy look, and has the leg tie, but for my use that wasn’t very practical. It’s lightweight and has the retention string, pretty stiff leather and genuine smell - made in Mexico . I ended up getting a Bianchi for $30 more and kept that. One belt loop and better, oiled leather that was made for the gun. I think if you’re not going to put this through the ringer and need something lightweight that looks authentic and has some character, it’s a good choice, if you will put this through more abuse, I’d get something else.

Really great holster for the money
The holster appears to be very well made, the leather is quite thick and stiff and will take sometime to wear in. The only negative: the color was much darker than pictured and actually had a label on it that stated the color was chocolate not just simply brown. I hope if I order a gun belt for it later, I'll be able to get a matching color. I got it for a 4-3/4" barrelled Heritage Rough Rider and it fits well, but my 6-1/2" RR fits in it just as well.

A great holster for your single action cowboy revolver, just ask Clint or the Duke! Well worth the price of admission.
This is perfect for what I was looking for. I have the Heritage Arms 22 in a cowboy style revolver. I wanted a holster that fit the gun, and the gun to fit the holster. This is very high quality for this price. My wife was asking if they made a purse like this. The detail is awesome. My gun fits in here very well. It has the thigh straps and also a retention strap that is adjustable. Very good attention to detail here.I really like this holster. For $30 and shipping, you can’t beat this. I bought this for all the 5 star reviews out there and the price. It’s a fun “plinker” gun, so I wasn’t looking to spend anymore than this. If you’re looking at this, just buy it. It’s well worth the money. It’s not made for a specific gun make and model, but more of a generic fit for a general gun. It this case, the Heritage Arms 22 with 6” barrel fits great in this. I would think many of the single action revolvers will fit in this. The bottom is open, and my barrel barely extends out the bottom, so I think a longer one would be fine too.I would definitely buy this again!

Awesome! I love it!
I seriously love this holster. In the past I have tried many types of holsters to carry my Ruger Single Six backpacking. Hip, thigh, shoulder. All had their drawbacks. Hip holster impedes my pack, thigh forces the gun to smack my knee with each step, and shoulder just gets in the way of pretty much everything. On the other hand, this holster is perfect, and it looks awesome to boot! This one sits the perfect distance between my hip and my thigh, it is extremely comfortable and I often forget it is even there. It fits my .22lr single six so well it seems they were made for each other. This holster is beautiful and built super tough. I have worn it on many wilderness excursions in the past year, through rain, snow, and mud, most notably 6 days in the Rockies. It has held up and shrugged off my abuses. I recommend this holster to anyone interested, plus you cannot beat the price.

A holster for your Rough Rider
The Heritage Rough Rider is an inexpensive gun, but pretty dependable, accurate, and a ton of fun to shoot. This holster is also inexpensive, but well made of quality leather, and fits the Rough Rider like a glove. Couldn't be any happier with this rig. If you're looking for a holster for a Heritage Rough Rider, you could sure do a lot worse for the money. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Gun pictured is six shot .22LR with 4.75" barrel and I ordered the .38 holster.

it is also a beautiful work of craftsmanship
Not only is this a proper fit for my .22lr revolver, it is also a beautiful work of craftsmanship! My Heritage Arms six-shooter fits with the trigger enclosed and the locking strap fits easily over the hammer. It hangs easily on my hip/thigh and comes with a soft leather tie-down. Perfect for my needs at an unbelievable price.

Love this holster!
I have a Heritage Rough Rider .22lr revolver, with a 6.5 inch barrel. This holster fits it really good. The end of the barrel goes past the bottom of the holster, but not by that much. You can adjust the hammer strap to be as loose or as snug as you want it. It's also comfortable on my belt.

Great Value
I just received the holster and on first glance I am very satisfied with the leather tooling and the fit for my Ruger Blackhawk 45 with a 4 3/4 inch barrel. See picture, The leather is not flimsy and seems to be of adequate quality for the exceptionally value price. Just a note on the hammer loop. The hammer loop (inside where the belt goes) needs to be pulled out the right distance for your type of gun. It pulls hard,The gun picture in my photo is Ruger Blackhawk. In case others have a Ruger Blackhawk 45 with 4 3/4 inch barrel: the trigger guard does not fit entirely into the holster and the barrel does not protrude below the holster bottom. If you have a longer barrel the end of a 4 3/4 inch barrel is about 1/2 inch or so from the bottom when the gun is inserted as shown in the picture.
