Hello Veronica, Thank you for your inquiry. Our Eco-Drive series of timepieces require regular exposure to light for proper operation. Many of our watches feature some visual cues indicating a low light state, they include the second-hand moving in 1 then 2-second intervals, or the hour-hand moving in full 1-minute intervals rather than every 20 seconds. Watch model AW1599-00W needs 30 hours of direct sunlight, 120 hours on a cloudy day, or 240 hours with an indoor fluorescent light to be fully charged.
