LZBRDY Candy Package Gift Box Metal Cutting Dies

Die cuts smoothly through cardstock. Easy to use. I've made about 30 candy boxes for upcoming party. I am happy with the purchase.

This makes the sweetest candy treat box & may be made into a popper/cracker if crackers were purchased to place inside. I do prefer to use a heavier card stock with this die as it folds along the score line better when adding candy to the inside. I stuff a tiny amount of tissue paper to one side & have added 1/4 cup of M&Ms, sweet tarts, skittles, Reese’s pieces, etc. I’ve added trail mix, nuts, & gummies & place them inside tiny reclosable bags. Then add another small piece of tissue paper to the other end so the candy doesn’t fall out & decorate. Everyone loves these candy boxes! For my nieces I’ve added lip balm, little trinkets, & candy! Such a sweet die! I have only cut light & heavy weight card stock with the die thus far & decorated with ephemera, cutouts, ribbon, etc. I do add acetate to both open areas. This is nice because I can see which candies are in each one but it can be covered with card stock or additional desired material. I shared this with a friend & she has added this die to her wish list! Happy crafting!

So for the first cut - I only cut one and thought gee this is so small. Then I went back to look at photo on Amazon, figured out you actually need to cut the die TWICE - mocked up a sample and it's absolutely perfect. Word to the wise - CUT 2 NOT 1.....

Die cut gives a nice crisp image. Very easy to use. Super quick to assemble.
