Great item and great quality. Highly recommend. First time doing this and all by hand but they’ve really turned out well. Have had zero splits even when I’ve made mistakes. Practice, practice, practice. Be patient and use the right tools (made my own from tools I had- pipe flair tool, old hammer with slim profile, snap setting puck, jewelers hammer and a bolt with a cone shaped head. Most consistent when rolling these on a vise anvil.

Despite the fact that it did not ship with the backing disk, this product is constructed from stiff material that can hold Kydex together with good success.It is important to note that heat has an ugly impact on the color of these rivets... if you are used to riveting your Kydex together prior to heating and forming it, be aware that the paint is likely to strip on some of these rivets leaving it with a less than satisfactory look, and potentially rendering your product useless.If you drill your holes and attach your parts together after the material has cooled down, you will have greater success with this product, but keep your heat gun away from the rivets.

I replaced the eyelets in my boots. They work great! I notice that a couple reviewers complain that these split. My guess is that they were fastening material that was too thin. Be sure to check the thickness rating before you buy these.

Used on .08 taco sheath. Barely enough length to get it set. The finish is almost more antique brass. Not a glossy black type coating. Can rub off if not careful to brass color.

Great quality rivet, after i received it, i immediately tested on two .08 kydex, no spliting! I bought some other rivets from a different seller and 3 out of 5 would split, i thought it was me making mistake but surely it's their quality issues! This one doesnt split and it stays nice and shiny after pressed.

Never used these before, first one went fine as did the next dozen in kydex. Now i need to order a few hundred more at least

Rivets were not long enough to get a good set on my .80 kydex holster.
