I am very pleased with this purchase. First, the knife is beautiful, great fit and finish. Also, it is very sharp straight out of the box. The sheath is very well made and durable. I was a little hesitant to purchase this knife online because I am extremely picky about my knives. I would highly recommend this knife maker.

I wanted a good knife for my camping/emergency backpack,this is a really good one is very sturdy doesn't feel flimsy when you hold it, I like that it comes with it's case and everything, really sharp

Nice design. But could had been made better if done full tang with actual micarda handles. Definite break point at the neck since it has most likely a welded pin. Plus the hollow grind does look pretty and reduces weight but depending on heat treatment most likely will chip. Definitly only to be used as a slicer. I give it 5 stars for design but could had been actually made better with the full tang and straight grind. Would had made an excellent and study thrower. I'm afraid one throw will snap it in two. If GCS knives sees this and implements my thoughts, I'll definitly buy it again.

The steel is pretty good, the overall fit and finish isn't bad. I wish it had a guard, feels like your hand could slip up into the blade . I'm taking the handle off and making a brass guard with the rosewood handle. The leather didn't make it off in one piece. Good leather sheath, wish they would stop with the stone pockets thou.

The craftsmanship in the carrier, the attention to detail, the pure still clean virgin leather waiting for molding with oil, sweat and leather balms. The leather is stiff, that is a DAMN GOOD better than GREAT thing, stitching nice, accurate deli treats, this is made not mass produced like a chain, in my opinion. Blade comes with small pointer condom. The UPS or DEPT homeland will pen and examine the knife said leather sheath, it will noted and this is great because people like us are doing their jobs. Which leads me to the blade:, solid, lube oil on it for transit will require cleaning for use. Handle is a work of art., thick, heavy yet balanced. I used the blade to slice of paper receipt from Lowe’s, it’s sliced through. Meaning it is sharp.I will buy more. I have had it for 3 hours. I will buy more, probably 4-6 to have in car, med kit, fishing kit, hiking kit, kitchen drawer SHTF kit and the first one EDC (every day carry) God bless west TexasI will say, even as a veteran, I will not use this knife until I research more on YouTube and other platforms including books to ensure I break this knife in properly while preserving it. BLUF: $60 is a Great piece to pay for the quality that I personally I have in front of me.And it comes with a small shapering stone and its own small minute pocket. GWOT approved. GEN X approved. I would, will and intend on buying more at this price point. The best way I can describe it is the blade and handle have the look as advertised and the feel of a heavy high end country knife, in my opinion.Again leather is stiff, that is a good thing, oil it like you oil a baseball glove. If I am too old fine look up the bad news bears the second one with Billy Bob Thornton.Legit, OGFRTBL, this is fire, this is the standard, this is on fleet, whatever y’all say.. ain’t paid to say this nor want anything just wanted to say that I do not regret I spent near $60 for this I regret I didn’t have enough money to buy the QTY I stained above.This is the eye testI’ll research how to break it in before I use it.

Was surprised at the craftsmanship and the overall sharpness. Definitely a good bang for the buck. Nice weight to it as well

Design is beautiful but other than that they aren't durable at all thank the gods I wasn't in a survival situation when it failed

I was hesitant about buying this knife at first due to the relatively low cost. I am so glad I finally but the bullet after having it in my cart for a monthZ. This is one of the most beautiful knives I’ve ever owned. It has no imperfections that I can tell. You can tell that this knife will last for a long time the very first time you pick it up. I love the leather grip and it is just the right size, not to thin or thick. All in all this was a win. I will definitely be purchasing more knives from GCS.
