bad quality/ no refund after a month
Bought these struts base on some of the reviews saying they were good, this started making noises and gave me a service suspension light on the dashboard. Started the refund process last month and still waiting on my refund. Do not buy this product, do not buy.

Work well as stock replacement
Install on our 2011 Escalade took about 3 hours. There are 5 bolts on each one. I also took my time. The clips on the lower attachment points are flimsy. I had one bend before tightening that then would not stay attached to the shock. I was able to use the old clip. The old clip was a lot more sturdy. These also did not come with new lower bolts, I was able to reuse the old ones, but I could not find new ones anywhere if I had broken one. The sound that the front suspension was making went away.

Will last if you avoid every major pothole.
Pros - Comes with the spring already installed, hooks right up to OEM plug, easy to install and you can use existing hardware, decently priced for not having to put the spring on yourself or lowing the car onto the spring.Cons - It is decently priced, if you buy OEM separately you would pay same amount or a little more for better quality. 1 month is all my previous set lasted. Started to get an error code from the strut and i did a little trouble shooting by switching the plugs (error remained) and only thing left was to change it out. If you go through a lot of bad roads or live in somewhere that is not paved you might want to go OEM or something with a guarantee longer that 30 days.

Was defective after installation
After installing these shock struts on my 2013 Cadillac Escalade, i recieved a Service Suspension warning light on the dash, which limits the speed of the car. I checked the code on my scanner and it turns out to be a defective left front shock. The electric selinode built into the shock is defective. Have to remove the shock strut and return, totally unacceptable for a part that's suppose to be made in Germany, it's clearly made in China , so don't be fooled. This front suspension is fraudulently advertised as a German part and the quality is beyond poor for this money. I highly recommend you to look for an alternative product and check the true manufacturing country. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!
