Perfect.
I can't express just how much I love this guitar. The build quality and factory set up are perfect. It's got such a wonderfully full balanced tone especially when you consider it's size. The integrated electronics sound great too. I was impressed when I opened the box, and I'm impressed every time I pick this guitar up. It turns heads both tonally and stylistically. I couldn't be happier. Geartree (seller) did a great job getting it to me as well. 100% would do business with them again.

Beauty!
Nice little guitar for the price. Show-stopping, unique look. Sounds great, especially plugged in. Bright and balanced tone. Has some chincy features that I plan on replacing (cheap plastic nut, saddle and bridge pins). But those are very affordable upgrades. I'd recommend it!

Well made guitar. Indonesia origin.
Beautiful guitar. Electronics work great. Fretboard is clean and tight but a little narrow for those with fat fingers. A bit top-heavy with the headstock size. Tuners are top notch and plated nicely with gold (not sure it's real gold). The action was a little high and the truss-rod needed a little tightening which is not unusual. Put a set of Elixir Extra Light Acoustic strings on it and it plays wonderfully. Note, we bought the Gretsch soundhole cover to allow it to be played on stage without low-end feedback and the "specially made" sound hole cover from Gretsch does not fit. It's off by a whopping .5" length and width. I cut it down with scissors and a razor blade .

Nice little instrument
I bought the Penguin, the Falcon Rancher and the 12-string because they were visually stunning. The Penguin required some work on the neck and frets, and a professional set up. One that was completed, the instrument played very well. It is a comfortable player to sit in a tight studio with. Fit and finish could've been better, but I am pleased with the purchase. I gave it two stars for the additional $100+ it cost to have the luthier get it playable.

Amp it up
Great little guitar especially when you amp it up as it is not a loud acoustic guitar but it is okay for that too. balance seems a little heavy from the head stock but not a deal breaker Bottom line is I would buy it again

Change the strings and this will be your all time favorite guitar
Just got this...I really liked it right out of the box...BUT...the factory 12s that were on it are way too stiff...I quickly put a set of 10s on it...and OMG...it became the sweetest guitar I've ever played...NO EXAGGERATION...Gretsch should ship these with 10s!!! They open up the sound SOOO much more than the factory 12s...I'll ad a video review later 👍👍👍
