Italian Baby Fig Compote is made from summer fruit matured in the sun and rich in vitamins and minerals. The regional "Dottato" fig from Calabria used have a soft, rich pulp and very few fine seeds. When being made, the temperature and cooking time are reduced to a minimum to preserve the quality of the fruit. Perfect for a number of culinary applications, but also great right out of the jar served simply with your favorite cheese.
