My husband bought these for some toys he was making figuring it would be easier and faster than making his own. One wheel had a chunk missing. There are two sizes of wheels in the package but only one size (diameter) of dowel. The dowel fit only the small wheels. It was too small for the bigger wheels and just slipped right through and out the other side. Some of the holes in the wheels where not centred thus making them unsuable.Better off to buy a hole saw and some dowel and make your own.

Some of the holes were drilled off center making them unusable as wheels. Wood quality was as expected though. Easy to paint/Dremel.

It was unclear to me when I ordered if I would be getting 30 or 60 wheels but even at 30, it was a similar in price to other options on Amazon so I rolled the dice. I got 30 wheels; 15 of each size. Why do they give an odd number of each size? Why do they give you 15 extra axles? Who knows. If you are making cars, you can only make 7. I guess the extra miss-matched wheels could be turned into steering wheels.The wheels were truely round and smooth. The axles were straight, though some were marginally thinner than others so I just had to glue the wheels on those.Overall, it helped my class create working junk cars.
