Nice fidget cube to start out with to see if you'd want something better
Overall I'm pretty happy with this. This is the first one ever used and most of the features on it are pretty satisfying, however, it feels pretty cheap overall and I'm not sure how long some of these parts are going to last. Regardless, it's very inexpensive and I'd thoroughly recommend it and if you end up really liking it then upgrade to something higher quality.A small review of each of the features:- On/off tilt switch.Requires a decent amount of force to press down and has a very pronounced actuation. Has a kind of not very satisfying plasticy contact sound at the press-down of one side and more of a satisfying plasticy snap clicky sound at the press-down of the other side. I give it a 4/5.- Five clicky buttons.Doesn't require as much actuation force as the on/off switch and has a much more satisfying and more audible clicky sound that I'm sure will be annoying to everyone around. It's a solid and hard plastic button that's either pressed down or isn't with no squishiness in the actuation. Resembles kind of a louder and heavier mouse click mixed with a solid and clicky remote button. All of the buttons have the same actuation, however, they all sound very, very slightly different. They're satisfying, but I'd like them more if they were closer to a mouse kind of click. I give it a 4/5.- Toggle stick.Very loose and not very satisfying at all to move around. It's pretty limited in how far it can move and if you thought it was going to be like a game controller thumb stick it really isn't. It can be pressed in and this feels very squishy with no audible click. It makes a noise at the bottom, but nothing that seems intentional. I'm not very happy with this one and the somewhat decent press-in redeems it a bit. I give it a 2/5.- Spin plate. This one is probably the worst of all. If you press down on it at all while trying to turn it there's just so much friction that it won't move. And yes, I said "turn." There's no way you're getting it to spin. It's nearly impossible to turn with one hand and the little bump doesn't help at all. Overall it's just very stiff and if anything it induces anxiety because it just doesn't want to move. The most I can move it at a time with one hand is maybe 1/4 a turn at most. I really don't like this one at all. I give it a 1/5.- Ball bearing. It's a ball bearing. It's smooth and moves without much effort at all. The surface is very shiny and you can't see that it's moving. It doesn't hold its momentum when you spin it and stops very quickly. Would've been more satisfying if it kept spinning at least for a couple seconds. Not really into it, but I could see how someone could enjoy it. I give it a 4/5.- Cogs. These require quite a bit of force to move and it's difficult to move them without using my fingernails. It can be done with one hand, but it's easier with both. It will only move one tooth at a time and each cog is independent. I dont know if it's intentional or not, but each one feels slightly more difficult. The first one can be moved without fingernails with some force, the second one requires a decent amount of force to move without fingernails, and the third one can't be moved without fingernails without really digging into it.Not a whole lot of smooth actuation going on, but it makes an audible click with each tooth step. Again, not really into this one, but I could see how someone else could be. I give it a 4/5.- Blank side.I wish another fidget was here because I haven't found it useful in any way. Sure, if you put your index finger on it and pivot the toy around that point you'll have access to all the sides, but I just find it easier and more satisfying to not do that. Another fidget would have been better and the shallow, smooth indent doesn't provide a whole lot of grip. A round metal piece with circular indentations on it kind of like the bottom of some stove pots would have been pretty satisfying to use as a pivot point. Even a deeper indentation would have improved it quite a bit. I give it a 2/5.

Great!
Been playing with it for a few days now.At first, I thought it might be a bit small to be comfortable, but in fact, it fits comfortable when held with the fingers. It's not meant to be in the palm of your hand, I guess. Most of the sides work as intended. I found the "glide" (wheel with a notch that turns) was a little stuck, so I didn't like it. I found that I could lift the circle with my nail, and I actually pulled it off, then replace it back again (didn't mean to pull it off). That totally fixed the sticking. It actually glides now, and is MUCH more satisfying. The side with the ball and will turning notched things is ok. The ball moves comfortable and easily but the notched wheels are hard to turn. They click satisfyingly, though. I find it easier to use my nail, and the notches can irritate the finger tips i f you play with that particular side long enough. My favorites have to be either the switch (best to hold it so you can flick the switch side to side with a thumb, instead of up and down like a traditional switch) and the buttons. The buttons click nicely and hitting several at a time feels nice. The entire thing feels stury enough to be pretty durable, but not so hard/stiff. You can play with it. The materials feel alright, though the joystick is plastic - not the rubbery textured kind you'd actually find on a decent game controller. It still works fine, though, feels good. It's a bit big to fit in a pocket comfortably, but that's because it's a cube. The colors came out pretty true to the picture (mine's black and green) and I'm excited to have this when studying! I hate having idle hands and I already find myself reaching for this cube whenever I'm not doing anything with my left hand. Awesome toy!

Work Place stresses over?
Just received this today, and its going to work with me, Actually, my plan is to take it everywhere to help distract my mind while in less desirable situations. Number one, I dont expect a ton of quality, this is VERY inexpensive. Two, If I dont lose it first, Ill see how long this one holds up. My favorite functions are the "5 clickers", "the switch", the "steel roller ball, and gears", and the "joy stick/button". Three, I dont see any value in Fidget spinners, but I thought this cube could be a perfect distraction, while in BORING meetings, long phone calls, to quiet anxious moments, and put my mind on something else other than the endless stresses of modern living. If I need to upgrade down the road maybe to the original Shark Tank Fidgit Cube could be in my future, will but We'll see if this one can handle daily living with me 1st. I like the black and green color combo too, itll keep this easily locatable, and need that.
