Indigo Wild Zum Bag Frankincense & Myrrh

I love this kit! You get lots of different types of product to try:Zum Oil - use for massage or I used all over after I got out of the shower before bed. It is oil but I didn't feel greasy. I like it better than baby oil that I've used sometimes in the past.Zum Mist - Use this on yourself or spray your bed linens with it. So relaxing. The scent is somewhat subtle - that's not to say you can hardly smell it. It smells strong enough but not so strong that it's overwhelming like some mists I've used.Zum Wash - I thought it lathered well and it didn't strip my skin.Zum Body - It's lotion and you get 2 plump pillow packages of it. There's enough in each pack to do your hands, feet, elbows and knees. Love it!Zum Bar - you get two fairly good sized bars. I imagine they'll last at least a few months depending on how often you use them. I really like this soap. I wash my hands a lot and this soap doesn't feel like it'll make my hands too dry and you can't feel a coating when you rinse. It feels like your hands are clean but they have a lovely scent to them that lasts for awhile. Note that right after washing my hands I was eating some cherries and though I could smell the scent a little, I couldn't taste it at all so even though it does scent your hands a bit, it's not so much that you'll end up transferring the scent/taste to food you might handle after. Just make sure you rinse well.Zum Rub - I thought the scent of this was a little less than the other products but the balm really softened the heels of my feet. I use it along with a pair of heel socks and I wake up in the morning with soft heels and no cracks. Plus it comes in this adorable little tin that you could re-use after the Zum rub is gone.I like this kit so much I can hardly wait to try the laundry detergent and I'm sure I'll be buying more of most of these products.

Unlike zum clean laundry soap which is scented with EOs, most of these products include both EOs AND "Fragrance." I noticed something was nasty when I put some of the rub on my hands and got it on my mouth. NASTY! POISONOUS TASTING! Probably not something you want on your skin, either...As far as the scents, you get a cloying, almost sickening-sweet odor reminiscent of fresh motor oil and decaying mangos (regardless of the product or listed scent, with the exception of the salt). They smell ok until about 15 minutes after applied then rapidly degrade. Poor quality even for fragrance oil.I have extensive (30+ years) prior and ongoing experience using various origins of all three alleged essential oils included (frankincense, myrrh, and patchouli) for various personal and professional uses and must assume that if any of these oils are actually present it is either in a fraudulently minute quantity or simply overshadowed by the overpowering stench of the chemical "fragrance."While I don't hate the products and may still give them another go, I'm extremely disappointed in them. I work hard all year and ordered these as something special to use on my vacation but feel I would have been better served by a bar of Irish Spring and some herbal essences or some other standard commercial garbage w much more pleasant scented chemicals than this. Horrible.I feel deceived and won't be ordering these products again. There are much safer, more pleasantly scented products (that are actually natural) available for similar or less cost.I included an image of the bag package contents with a penny for size perspective. They are quite tiny. You might expect a handful to perhaps a dozen uses from each, depending on the product and application.Not recommended as a gift. Due to soaps being unwrapped, bag interior arrives looking quite soiled.There isn't much I despise more than a company that slaps "essential oils" on a label and designs their products to appear handcrafted and organic but then slips questionable and possibly toxic ingredients in. Get rid of the fragrance oils and chemical agents. Do better, Zum. For the price, you can surely offer better quality than this.

Be sure to read the size... my cell phone is larger than the entire package! These are tiny sample sizes.That being said, the scent is lovely!

Initially I loved the good selection of items, and I still consider that a major Pro- figuring out what you do or don’t like.The con is there are two bars of soap and only one is frankincense and myrrh, the other was patchouli. The biggest bummer for me was the vial of soap and body wash.The dang thing is glass! We’ve all heard some variation of a prison/soap joke and it’s for a reason...showers are slippery.I’ll give you one guess what happens the first time you drop that vial in the shower...and if your guess doesn’t involve bloody feet and finding broken glass shards for a week...it doesn’t count.Just a bummer, a design flaw and makes the purchase less of a value when you lose that much off the bat. I get it, I’m the idiot that dropped it- but that’s poor planning and I bet I’m not the only idiot not happy about glass shower containers.

I included this product in my hospital bag for having a baby. I felt so pampered in my hospital suite when I bathed and cleaned up, and the whole room smelled so soothing! This product was perfect, even though it was a little more expensive than some travel size products, it was definitely worth it. The oil was great for massage and for a rubbing on tummy after the baby bump had deflated, I felt like it definitely helped get my skin get jumpstarted on recovering. I have since purchased the normal sizes on some of the products, but would definitely re-order this travel kit for my next trip. Forget the ootsie cutsie stuff, after you have a baby, you are exhausted, stinky, and very fragile feeling. In addition to all the other more exhilarating but also stinky exhausting things involving newborns. This product may help you regain some of your humanity and sanity. Also great because it isn't full of chemicals.
