Evolution Diet Gourmet Entree Moist Cat Food Full 24 Can Case

My cats like it ok. It's better if I mix it with water and the yeast they send with the dry food. But hey prefer the vegetable stew variety. I think it's a little dry and wish it had some moisture which is why I recommend adding water. But it's vegan and cruelty-free which I love.

One of my two cats, Vladimir, recently got incredibly sick from Nutro food. It wasn't listed in the pet food recall, but several pet parents have had sick dogs and cats from this "premium" food. I spent $3,200 in vet's bills and had many anguished nights. The vet put him on a perscription food, but that one has also been recalled recently...arg! Fearful for their health, I fed them tuna (I know, not the best option), and though Vladi maintained his health, my house REEKED of fish. Praise the lord for Evolution! They love the taste of this, it smells good (and tastes good too...I tried a bit, and I'd totally eat it) and I'm not grossed out by touching it. I feel great that my cats are eating food that I like, both for it's nutrition and for its ethics. I'm going to be an Evolution costomer for life!

I’m resubmitting my review for 2 reasons. 1. Originally the peanut packaging was disturbing. Cuz that stuff ends up in the ocean. My box was stuffed with it and needed a note explaining that it was biodegradable. After I posted the company called and left a message explaining that it would dissolve in water. So that’s good news. Secondly, my cats really like the food! I have an elderly cat and a young cat and both of them enjoyed it very much.

I am a vegan so I feed my dog a vegan diet. I add some V dog dry vegan food as well.Adding a very small amount of just each of the following, plain canned pumpkin, pieces of apple, nutritional yeast,oatmeal, fiber. I mix all together. He has been on this diet for about 4 years.My dog’s coat is very shiny, he is thriving & healthy on this diet.

The cats don't love this stuff... Mixing it with some Amicat dry food has helped a bit. Going to try mixing it with some yeast extract like Vegemite or Marmite and will post update.**Edit** after adding a bit of Marmite, one of my two cats is happier. The other eats it eventually but isn't pleased with the food. Might try the other flavor for her.

My two vegan cats LOVE this. I mix it up with water, olive oil, nutritional yeast, and some other supplements that I get from Vegan Cats and they happily gobble it up. My tabbies are super healthy and have really soft fur, too.

This product seems to be mostly fiber. It goes right through the animal and creates massive stools. Waste of money! Time will tell if it stays on the market because the manufactures claims have not been tested in feeding trials for decades like major brands have.
