It fits, feels sturdy
Very simple installation. It fits tight, looks good, and feels pretty sturdy.

Finish isn't durable
I have had this Metra trim installed in my Prius for about 9 months. About two months ago, I noticed that the finish was starting to ripple on the small trim piece and the box (the middle and bottom items in the standard illustration). The finish has now begun to peel off those pieces. Apparently, these two pieces are not simply molded from plastic; they have a vacuum-formed coating over a plastic core. This coating is coming off.For an automotive product, I expect durability on the order of 10 years. Not 1/2 to 3/4 of a year.On the Prius forum, others have reported similar problems with the Metra trim. Some are recommending the Scosche trim kit, although I have not heard anyone explicity say that they've had a better experience with Scosche.

A little confusing setting up, but then again, I'm not the best with Following directions on things like Legos. Once set, it has been holding strong with no issues.

Omg, absolute perfect fit into 2010 prius, pioneer single din. Didnt need trim piece for plate either.
