The saddle looks new and unused as far as I can tell but it was clearly a return sent in the previous customer's box with the full name and address clearly printed on the return label.I paid the listed price for a new item though, but other than returning it I have no way to address this. Scummy behavior on Amazon's part.The saddle is comfortable and it looks good, but on the other hand, it can't be moved far enough for a proper configuration on my wife's bike.It's still too far in the front even when pushed all the way back from the horizontal adjustment on the post.

Great seat and good value. I tried three or four different seats before settling on this one. It beat out a couple that were more than twice the price. This seat is a solid choice, especially for an upright rider like me. I am not an aggressive rider but I log an average of 75 miles or more a week and this seat is working well for me. Pretty comfortable (nothing's perfect - hence only four stars), no chafing, and very good quality. I'm glad I bought it.

This is the most comfortable saddle I've ever used. However, it is very large and bulky and not at all cool looking. So if you care about how your bike looks and don't want to be accused of using a granny seat,then you may want to pass on this saddle. However, if you don't care about how your bike looks or adding a few more grams of weight, then this is a great saddle. It is super comfortable. At this stage in my life, I want to build endurance on long rides, not shave microseconds off my time trials. This seat allows me to ride for hours without wincing in pain or becoming numb. And I couldn't care less how it looks. Hope that's helpful.

PROS: A good layer of memory foam makes this seat extremely comfortable. 5 star comfort.CONS: One major weakness - rain. The pores of the foam will be filled with a lot of water and keep it for a while if you don't use a rain cover. Bikes are often locked outside and the use of non-waterproof materials, which requires you to carry an additional cover, is a nuisance. Minus 2 stars.

I bought this to replace a standard seat on a Schwinn exercise bike. The old seat would cut off my circulation and leave me numb and in pain after 10 minutes. My goal was to ride 30 min a day, so I bought this cushier seat. Honestly, my sits bones still ache a little even after multiple sessions. However, it is such a huge improvement from the last seat that my whole family now uses the bike. For reference, I am a small female. But the others in the house are male, ranging from 5'9 to 6'0, slender build.
