Good sound
Sound quality is good. However you need to charge daily. The contacts are small and it doesn’t charge unless you perfectly get it aligned. No light indicator if the unit is off to know if it’s charging.Update: battery issue related to the usb plug. The device doesn’t come with a plug, only the charging cable. I used a stronger plug and it’s charging now. There is a light indicator to notify you it’s charging.

Works Great, great sound, great showering experience, Love it!
I don't normally review things I buy, but I have read some critical reviews for this product and wanted to communicate my experience. Overall I think this is a great product and it has exceeded my expectations. Here are some details:Setup: For me, the product easily connected to my WiFi and I had it working with Alexa in minutes. It connected the 1st time and worked exactly like the instructions said.Voice Commands: With or without the water running, even with the shower door closed (while I'm not in the shower), it recognizes my commands and works just like any other smart speaker. Things like "Alexa, play young the giant radio from pandora". Not a simple command, but I have not had ANY issues with it understanding.Sound quality: When I shower 1st thing in the morning, I have to turn it down so I don't wake people. It has good base and fills the room with sound. This thing really sounds great!Water Spray: I was worried about this one. But the spray is full and has good pressure. I feel completely engulfed with water when I stand under it. I like it better than the shower head I removed (which wasn't bad).Charging: Battery life is good. I do agree with one previous reviewer that it would be nice if it 'clicked' into the charger. As it is now you have to make sure the leads on the charger line up with the contacts on the speaker. This is SUPER minor though; it literally takes 5-10 seconds to make sure it's lined up and the light is on indicating that it's charging.

Really nice idea, moderate execution
This is a good device at the sub-100 price point but it has a few flaws that makes it unrealistic for most. I am spoiled with dual multi-functional shower heads in our master bedroom and high end showerheads in our guest bedrooms and the kid's bathrooms. This single function shower head doesn't have a substantially effective spray pattern.Bottom line:When you add in the functionality of Alexa and the Bluetooth speaker, it honestly is a great idea but the function and price do not make it work the purchase. What we noticed when placing it in the guest room, it was solemnly used by them even because from an easy of use, you can get the same sound quality and functionality out of a $20 waterproof speaker and more versatility out of a $15 shower head making this overpriced by ~80 most of the time when it is not on sale. Novel idea, just not necessarily fully fledged enough to justify it's price.

Alexa at its best
Enjoy using this in shower. It works great and sound dominates the water. My only complaint is it needs pressing button to turn on (not always on). It takes as long for it to start as it takes for hot water to flow so not that bad. For those from India say "Alexa play All India Radio Vivid Bharti", "Alexa play All India Radio Telugu" ... There are several stations I miss those stations. Stops and eventually turns off by "Alexa stop"I have the bluetooth on as well in another bath but this has both.

Disappointed.
ProsGood sound as expected from Harman Kardon.Easy to install/replace existing showerhead.Cons: WaterproofYes, but DO NOT get the speaker front wet!If water gets on the front of the speaker, the volume drops and then it sounds like the speaker is blown. It crackles and pops.Once the speaker properly dries, its sounds great. Splash again and you get crackle. This is repeatable and makes this “Shower Speaker” useless unless you stand motionless under the water. Alexa As an Alexa enabled device, I expected the speaker to activate upon saying the wake-word. It does not.The device must be powered on first. Hold in the power button, and then approximately 20 seconds later you heard “connected to Wi-Fi” and only then does Alexa activate using the wake-word.There are no settings in the app to change the power settings or put the speaker in standby. It powers completely off after a period of time. The microphone is weak. With music playing (not loud) and the water running she struggles to activate with the wake word.App is buggy.During installation/connection. The app took me through connecting to my Amazon count multiple times. The morning after install my phone reported heavy CPU usage from this app. Sometimes has difficulty connecting to the showerhead. Additional hardware Only the shower head is included. The pictures and video show a matching shower neck.I imagined walking into the shower, asking Alexa to play music, the news brief or traffic and going about my day. This does not happen seamlessly.I have a smart home, and the bathroom was the last place to add a digital assistant. I had a Bluetooth speaker in the room for music, this was to up the game. It sadly does not, and only disappoints. I would not purchase this product until they’ve addressed the issues mentioned above. Not worth the 275.
