Radius Garden 202 PRO Ergonomic Stainless Steel Shovel, Original Green

After breaking another trenching shovel, I started shopping for a new shovel to use for planting and general digging in my 5+ acre yard. I have a hand shovel that I like that was made by this company (Radius), so I was interested in their other offerings. This shovel caught my eye- the round topped handle looked like it would offer many ways to hold and operate the shovel. I was very happy when the shovel was delivered! The shovel is shiny chrome, the bright green round handle is easy to see if I lay it down while working, and that round handle is so handy and easy to both carry around and use. I can get great leverage while digging or prying rocks out of sticky clay mud. I find myself using the shovel like a cane while climbing around the steep parts of our property. It’s easy to make clean cuts in roots, and the back part that you step on to push the shovel into the ground seems larger than other shovels, and is easy to push or stand on to get the shovel deeply into the ground. Needless to say, I’m very happy with this shovel. I like it so much that I gave a red one to my sister for her birthday. :-)

This is very well built and sturdy. Well worth the money. Sadly our clay yard was stronger and this tool was unable to break it up. I think it would work great in other soils but not ours sadly!

I cannot tell you how amazing this digger fork is. I’ve replaced using my shovel to dig into heavy clay soil. This tool is the best Ergonomic - well made garden tool. I am a 69 year young woman who loves to garden but honestly any age person would tire if using tools that make you work harder; for example a shovel to dig clay earth. This digger is useful in every way!!! Thank you for a well made product.

No other tool will dig in my rocky soil, except for this one. It is the best for wiggling in-between the rocks, and then stepping on the shovel head, to drive the point down to dig a hole. It is strong enough to pry the medium sized rocks up.ONE BIG WORD OF WARNING: Don't wear wide leg pants while using this shovel! The loose pant leg wrapped over the side of the shovel head and got stuck there, with my foot in the air. I couldn't balance on one foot like that. I fell over hard. Now I wear skinny jeans when I use this shovel. With skinny jeans, IT WORKS GREAT! I LOVE IT! :)

The tool works fine but I use it almost daily. I don't think this is designed for the rigors of a farm as I have owned two of these and both have broken in different places. Once after 6 months where the tines attach to the handle. I was able to weld it back together. The other broke from the round handle off the shaft. I ordered another because they do work well. Don't expect years of use if you use it daily.

I didn't think a shovel could make a difference but I was wrong! I have heavy clay throughout my yard, and need to dig out a planter bed by my deck. I ordered this in the hope if would help. It's still a hard job shifting the clay, but this shovel cuts through it SOO much better than my old one. It's lighter and the handle is a great design. Really glad I bought it.

Excellent for old / young people, and in general, people who are not physically fit. It's lightweight and very wieldy! A bit on the expensive side, hence the four 🌟 rating. My parents liked it a lot though!

How on earth could one shovel be THAT MUCH better than any other?I don't even know how to answer my own question.Sure, it is expensive, but WORTH EVERY PENNY!It makes the heavy digging work almost fun!I recommend this to anyone with a garden.

This pitchfork broke just shoveling chicken manure. This is definitely not worth the money.

This is the tool I have been looking for all my life! I need to use my foot when prying rocks or levering out big weeds and finally I can!!! I have used mine for several years with no issues. It is tough!
