High Quality Writing Tablet - Worth the Extra Cost
These are great writing pads! These pads are bright white and the printed lines are very well done as they are solid, fluid and do not bleed. The ink on the lines does run and can smear if the paper gets wet or condensation falls from my water bottle, but that hasn't happened often and is no worse than another pads out there. The paper is thicker than most other writing pads I have used, which is great as I usually am using a gel or roller-ball type of pen and it doesn't bleed through the page. I also use a mechanical pencil and find that the paper is just as easy to write on with pencil. The pencil erases cleanly from the page, when necessary. The paper tears off from the pad easily when you're ready to remove it. The tearing sound the paper makes is actually fairly quiet. And, for me, that is good as I have a boss that has often whispered to me to pass him a piece of paper. I can do it with these writing tablets without drawing much attention. If you've stayed this far in the story, you know that I like these writing pads! I have been using this same style of tablet for, at least, 2 years and figure it's time to do the review. You can find writing pads that are a bit more economical, but this is very good quality paper and the pads are constructed well.

I love this paper!
This paper is amazing. I am a graduate student in mechanical engineering, and a I end up taking a lot of notes in class that I keep in a Bindertek binder. This paper has been a godsend in comparison to the economy legal pads from Office Depot that I used before. If nothing else than for the heft of the paper and its ability to stay clean and straight. I would always have a problem with the Office Depot paper getting wrinkled and ruffled up after even turning the page the wrong way or being a little bit too moist. This paper on the other hand has a nice stiff snap when you rustle it, and the paper holds up quite well to the daily handling that my duties call of it. Furthermore, after punching holes in the paper, it holds up quite well. One note, however, I find that the texture of the pages and the color of the lines to vary between batches that I buy. At the time of writing, I have purchase this product 2 times. Within each purchase, the pads had the same characteristics. The first order had rough paper with light lines, which I fell in love with because I write math notes, which involves mixed spacing between writing paragraph-type notes and multi-level equations and formulas (read: fractions and exponents). The second time I bought this paper though, I was surprised to find that the lines were much darker than in my previous batch, and the paper was much smoother. I even questioned if it was the same paper, but the watermark and the weight are both still there, and I still love this paper.

Good deal, great paper
This is very good paper, and better then your average pad. I use a fountain pen which writes very well and there is no bleeding on this on this pad. This is one of the few pads I found and I can write with one of my fountain pens. Even a G2 writes better on these pads.Update 1/21/14: I raised the review from 4 stars to 5 stars. After testing all types of paper, this is the only notepad, at a decent price, that let's me write comfortably with my fountain pens. The better paper for those pens are almost twice the price, if not more. These are the only pads I write with anymore. The paper also seems thicker.[...] and thank you for reading my review. :)

Good business practice!
This review is in regard to Business Practice not the Writing Pads. The pads were somewhat defective but usable. I wanted to return them, but the Seller allowed me to keep them and refunded my money! This Seller is a great example of taking care of its customer! This will certainly prompt me to use this Seller again. If other Sellers are reading this then let the record show that this is how business should be conducted!

Might have been good if I hadn’t relied on
I went looking for a bargain on paper and locate what was to be FOUR pads of repackaged like new paper from Amazon dot com. What I ended up getting was short ONE PAD,getting just 3 of paper that had the top of the pads destroyed and the edges appeared to received some water damage at some point. I can see why it probably required repackaging. Bargain? Not hardly. As for the brand name of the paper it’s self on what I received (I would guess the quality much better than what I have on hand)The paper is a nice heavy thickness of good quality for writing. The perforation is good considering how destroyed the top portion of my pads are which surprises me. I do have some lighter lines throughout the pad on sheets of paper but it’s possible this was second rate product to begin with.Overall I would purchase this brand again but probably not when I’m told it’s in “like new condition” especially when I was shorted One full pad of paper.

Great for fountain pens
I'm a pretty heavy fountain pen user and write at least 10-20 pages a day. Clairefontaine/Rhodia/Other fountain pen specific paper manufacturers are great, but are a bit too expensive for everyday usage. The paper quality on Ampad Gold Fibre is great. I don't barely have any feathering or ghosting and it has some texture which I like (I little rougher than Rhodia).I use a Sailor EF on it, so the roughness is probably specific to the small nib I have.
