This is my 3rd pair
In 2017 I was diagnosed with bone spurs (plantar fasciitis) in my right foot on the heal. I went to the podiatrist who gave me a custom arch for walking, but I needed a slipper to wear at home. I tried the Spenco shoe and I have never looked back. The shoes are very supportive and totally take away the pain of the bone spurs. The bone spurs totally went away in about 6 months, but I have contiued to wear the Spenco slippers. I feel very sturdy when walking, my feet are warm, but not too hot and the shoes are so well made . I will keep buying them as long as they are in stock.

Worth it and size up
So I’m normally between 8.5 and 9. I do notice my foot size go up and down with weight gain. I tried the 9 and the length was too short for my foot. Usually with slippers, we don’t pick up our feet. We walk heavily with them and drag our feet. So I knew my feet were going to slip out if they were at the end of the shoe and with arch support, it has to fall perfectly in your arch. Otherwise, it can really hurt you. I took the risk of ordering a 10 and am soooo glad I did! I tried it for 3 days and decided it is the right fit.The arch support is better than any I’ve had. My arch actually stays up after using them, which is something no orthotic has ever done. They’re so comfortable and like a dream to my feet and arch. I want to cry- I feel like I’m walking on clouds! I haven’t had that feeling for a very long time.Ya it is expensive, especially for slippers. However, price wise for today’s world- it makes sense. They look nice- not like orthopedic shoes which makes me happy. They have a nice fur lining and yes, I can tell the fur will wear down. I’ve had plenty of faux fur. This is the kind that will get matted. That’s not new to me. So long as the arch support of the shoe doesn’t die too soon, I’ll be happy. And they’re slippers. Slippers don’t usually last that long anyway. I’d say that i hope these last me for about a year or 2. And I’m so tired of those not supportive slippers that you’re ankles rolling around like crazy and am so tired of uber flat shoes that only teens have the patience for. My feet hurt so much from them. This is definitely the lesser evil, especially now that I’m having back pain. So I’m definitely ready for these, even if it’s $75. I feel like if you wanted this to be any better quality, it’d be in the $100s. I’m glad it’s not. I would never try a slipper for $100, even if it had arch support.Anything cheaper and it’d one of those gimmick slippers where they promise arch support, but actually it’s just another cheap “made in china” slipper (nothing against china) that’s just as flat and unsupportive like the rest except for maybe it has memory foam in it or something. And it’s not the kind of arch support like the poor quality orthotics you’d buy at a drug store. No, these actually have arch support. These are real. And that’s another thing I was worried about when buying these and am definitely happy to be wrong about...or so I hope. After all, it’s been only a few days. But if I don’t update my review, then they’re good. Even if it doesn’t work out, I’ll still be happy that i tried it once. My feet feel like they’re in heaven.

Great slipper
I bought these slippers because my friend recommended them to me. I complained to her about how sore and tired my feet felt when I did a lot of standing and cooking. I was dreading the holidays, so she told me all about her Spenco slippers. She said she loves them so much that she treats herself to a new pair every year. I have to agree with her. The Spenco slippers are the best to prevent tired feet because it has a lot of cushion and arch support and if it wasn't for these slippers I don't know how I would have gotten through two Christmases without them. Although they are a bit pricey, the slippers are worth it.

Great Slippers- Strange Crinkle?
These slippers are FANTASTIC! I have a foot condition and I need arch support. These have been a life saver for my aching feet! Unfortunately, there was a strange crinkling noise every time I took a step like part of the slipper inside got unglued? I exchanged them and the new pair did the same exact thing. Very strange and annoying, but the fit is so nice that I can deal with it.

good arch support, but....
I needed a new pair of slippers this year. I wanted something with support because I have plantar fasciitis on my right heel. After researching great slippers for this issue I decided on these. They feel great when you first slip them on and they are indeed working for me. After two months the fur on the sides of the heels have worn down, which has created a cut alongside my left heel. underneath the fake fur is a rough base that can irritate the skin and cause a callus or roughness. Now i have to wear socks with these slippers to fix that issue. Two things that I wished these slippers had that would make them better; a memory foam and sheepskin lining. The slippers start to smell after a couple of weeks and I realized that I should have looked into them being sheepskin.

Comfortable and supportive.
I’ve owned at least six pair of these slippers! They are supportive and very comfortable. I just wish there were a few more colors.

Is it just me?? Change in the arch and soles.
I have been wearing the Spenco women's slippers (mules) for 5 years. This is my 4th pair. I was surprised to see how light they are now which I liked, but when I put them on I noticed the arch support is not the same along with the soles feeling like hard plastic instead of a gripping rubber. They are slippery when I walk on my tile floor and not nearly as comfortable as my old shoes that I have had for over a year, due to I would notice more of an arch support which it is lacking. I added photo's of the new pair (left) and the old pair (right). It is hard to see the arch support on the right compared to the new one, but there is a difference. I am curious if anyone else has noticed the change or are my shoes a knock off pair? This is the reason for a 4 star rating as I would normally give them a 5 star rating. On sizing - I wear a 6 - 6-1/2 and I ordered a 6 as they stretch out.

Great slippers!
Very comfortable, especially if you have dropped arches etc and an excellent, hard-wearing sole if you need to pop out to the garden!!!

Best show ever
I suffer from plantis for 1.5 year now, I have very severe problem. When I put my foot in this slipper, my foot immediately relax, very comfortable, I wear them all the time. Don't waste your money on cheaper versions, pay the price it is completely worth it.

Upon a sober second look, I realize that these slippers are not what I hoped they would be.
I recently posted a review saying these slippers were comfortable and helped me manage a foot condition I have (plantar faciitis). I realized after wearing them a bit longer that they may not be as great as I thought. They do provide support and they are comfortable, but I am realizing when it comes to foot conditions I need to buy footwear that is made to measure. Sadly, I had to stop wearing them.
