I have used this brand for my cigar humidor for years and it has kept the cigars in top condition, even some very special cigars that have rested in that humidor for over a well over a decade. Recently we had problems keeping the soft dog treats moist after opening the package. The solution was to use a new large freezer zip-lock bag and add the Boveda pack to the dog treats. It took a few days, but the previously hard and unwanted (by the dog) treats were as soft and fresh as when we first opened the package. No longer are we wasting money by tossing out hard dog treats that the (overly spoiled) food focused fur missile rejects.So far, it's been over two months and there is no sign that the Boveda pack is degrading. Typically they will last around four months in the humidor and start showing signs of firmness around three months after opening.

I absolutely love these things! Put one in to season a new humidor or hold humidity and there are no worries for months. I seasoned and re-seasoned all my humidors and have yet to change boxes. My humidity readings go from 69% to 80%. They're a hair pricey but at what cost does one ensure $3,000.00 worth of cigars are at exactly at 72% humidity? (The 80% reading is in a humidor with cigars that became a bit dry and are in wrappers and tubes.) I am completely happy I switched to the Boveda humidity system. No mess, no fuss. Just place one into a humidor and forget it for months ( At least once you learn how quickly the humidors dry out to the point where you need to replace the Boveda). Also no worries about way too much humidity in the humidors which can ruin cigars quickly. Ask me how I know.

I purchased my husband a small humidor for our wedding and have been using the Boveda humidity packets for about a year to keep the humidity up. I noticed with the packets that we could never keep the humidity where it needed to be.After doing additional reading I found out that even in a small humidifier you should be using several of the little packets. The packets are not cheap so I was researching alternative options when I found this bigger size. Ever since I put this larger box in there the humidity has stayed consistent and perfect. When you consider how many little packets you would have needed compared to one of these the price really isn't bad either.This 320 gram pack is definitely the way to go even in small humidifiers and although it may be more expensive then controlling humidity with your own filter thing, the ease of use on this one makes it all worth it.

I recently purchased an electric humidor to house some back supply of cigars that wasn’t well-maintained I purchase this humidor to help maintain humidity. It’s been about a month and it works very well. The only drawback they are a little expensive but it’s worth it for housing cigars.

Works great for seasoning humidors. Just toss in, close humidor, ignore for week or two, remove, add cigars and preferred level Boveda pack for normal operations. I have seasoned all my humidors with these packs, works better than wiping with a rag and distilled water. No worries about mold.

Seasoned my humidor and then was used to keep my other humidity packs fresh. Worked well if you have a new humidor, pick one up.

You need to season for 2 weeks, but once you do so, you are set!
