Straightforward Spoon and Fork Set with Plastic Carrying Case. Child Delighted by Robot Design.
These are straightforward portable children's fork and spoon set with metal tips and plastic handles. Good quality. OK price (I got mine for about $8) All three pieces, case included goes through the dishwasher well. Robot print on the handles after about a month is still in perfect condition. I put the case on top rack. The case is a little large for just the spoon and fork and they kind of rattle around in there. Good thing about the case is, it's big enough that you can fit additional things in there like a folded paper napkin, a little note, more utensils, etc. The case is not specific to just the Sugarbooger utensils either, which is nice. My normal silverware as well as OXO Tot spoon and fork set (which have very thick plastic handles) fit, too. I can rotate the utensils that go inside the case and I don't feel pressured to have to clean and keep the Sugarbooger set ready at all times.Other than that, there is nothing particularly notable or extraordinary except for whatever design your child fancies. Mine likes robots and the colors. So she was absolutely delighted when I presented her with these. That's good enough for me!

Fantastic! A great gift, even for adults!
I love these!! I bought myself a set to go in my purse for emergencies (because let's face it, I'm an on-the-go kind of girl and I never know when I'm gonna forget to grab silverware) and they are so handy! They even come with the little case so you can slip them back in if they're still a little dirty and they won't go jangling around your purse. Seriously, forget these being a kids set... they are a life saver for adults! Also, the case is nice because it closes with a magnet and not a latch thing, so it's less likely to break if you're clumsy.I don't think the spoon is deep enough for serious soup eaters, but like I said, it's great in emergencies where you're starving and just forgot to pick up that plastic fork. In fact, these are really great for people who are going green and don't like the idea of bundles of plastic flatware ending up in dumps for seagulls to choke on. And they're just the right size for a kid's tiny hands too. If I were a mommy, my kids would each have their own set because I just think they're wonderful and super useful, ESPECIALLY with the carrying case.My only complaint is that the sugar skulls aren't as bright and vivid as the picture shows, but they're still quite a functional set and very lovely to have. I'm contemplating getting a set for my hubby too, for his lunch at work and for on the go as well. Seriously, I can't say enough wonderful things about these cutie pies!

Bought it for the case
The case is great and super handy. The closure is magnetic, and the case keeps the silverware clean until you need it, and keeps dirty silverware off of the rest of your diaper bag if you need to put it away dirty. The silverware is not as nice as my IKEA kids silverware, but my son loves the robot design we chose. He loves robots and is pretty easy to please in that sense. The IKEA has a smaller spoon which fits better in my 2yo mouth--this silverware might be a little better for an older child than mine.

Love the set but letters are coming off!
We have two different silverware sets from Sugarbooger. While the design on the first set has held up, many of the letters on this particular set have scraped off both the spoon and fork. I'm not sure why or how this has happened as we handwash them with a soft sponge. Other than the design coming off (is this to give them a true vintage look?!?), they are great. We use them daily as I find the size and shape satisfactory for my toddler. While others have complained about the size of the spoon, I find it works especially well with soups and cereals. While the food "hides" in spoons with a deeper curve and less seems to be emptied in the mouth, this spoon comes out completely empty. I imagine it could be more messy getting to the mouth but we haven't really seen too much of an issue there. I just wish the design would have lasted more than the several months we've owned them as this is a cute set.

Great On-the-go Item
I'm going to start with a disclaimer - yes, I am admittedly over-the-top with our restaurant organization, but it makes eating out a pleasant family experience, and my daughter loves her special restaurant accessories.I really like this set - we've used it for over a year and have bought a second for when my son is old enough to use them. The little container is the best part for me, and it comfortably fits several different toddler cutlery brands. I love it because it is just big enough to hold our restaurant kit without being bulky, then we wrap the whole thing in a roll-up bib. I deducted one star, because I wish the plastic hinge were actually a hinge and not just a thin section where the plastic folds, because those inevitably break eventually, but we're at a year+ and going strong. Here's what we fit into the kit:- Cutlery (obviously)- Bed band, which we use as a napkin clip around the waist to stop the napkins from sliding onto the floor ( The ORIGINAL Bed Band - Adjustable Fastener/Holder/Strap/Suspender/Gripper for Your Sheets. Patent Pending (1 Pack) )- One table topper - as much to stop messes as to keep the area germ free ( Neat Solutions Sesame Street Table Topper with Travel Case, 18-Count )- Fun Chop chopstick clip - we eat sushi a lot and get them for free at the restaurants, but you can buy them ( 6 FUNCHOP Chopstick Helpers )
