Protects against germs and bacteria
These covers are great to keep your toothbrushes clean and sanitary. I live in the south and no matter how clean you are, there tends to be bugs. The thought of a creepy crawly on my toothbrush is disgusting. Not to mention the germs and bacteria around your sink. Think about it. Your hands are dirty and you turn on the water to wash them. You get them wet and water mixed with the dirt and germs on your hand can splatter onto your toothbrush. You've seen how dirty your mirrors get from the splatter.I love these pods. They are so easy to get on and off. You can do it with one hand. And they fit all different sizes of toothbrushes from manual to battery powered. I tried another brand of covers to try to save money but I quickly bought the Steripods again. There is no comparison.

I'd recommend them
So after watching the Myth Busters episode years ago where they explain how everything in your bathroom is covered by general splashback (from toilet, shower, etc), I've made it a point to at least keep my tooth brush covered when not in use. These do just that. Small plastic clamp covers that are a tad larger than the head of your toothbrush.Since they are made of plastic I doubt they are super durable, but as long as you use them for their intended purpose, this shouldn't be a problem. Only the rowdiest of children will see any issues of *maybe* breaking them.These do their job great. Just make sure you change them out from time to time. Not sure how long you should keep one active, but at the very least I'd say open a new one when you change brushes.

Not as pictured
I ordered these thinking they would send me clear colors like the picture, but instead I received the nastiest opaque color(s): dark grey. Very ugly color and not what I was expecting. Very dissatisfied!

Chemicals in product
I was really hoping to love these, but even the smell of chemicals was awful. There was no way I was putting it near my toothbrush 😭

Good value, but did not come in the colors shown
My old ones were the same colors as shown and we were each used to our color, so now we received two sets of the same colors but not the ones we wanted. Otherwise these are very good to use, does have a strong odor that goes away but that doesn’t bother us.
